It had been a (blessedly) quiet week. For once Cassandra walked into the cafe knowing precisely what she wanted to put up as the daily special, and she didn't even bother consulting with the kitchen staff (a decision she'd likely regret).

Fortunately the weather was almost cool enough to justify her craving for a thick and rich beverage. She sat quietly at a table near the door sipping a mug.
