The Ruins of the Former Echolls Mansion, Wednesday, 7-9

"Good morning," Fraser said, greeting those that had assembled. "To continue on from what Mr. Harris told you on Monday, we're going to continue the clean up of the area that was formerly the Echolls mansion. Please wear all proper safety attire and please refrain from playing with the debris."

He smiled pleasantly at all of them. "Think of this as the renovation of the school but on a smaller scale. Should you have a need for assistance, do not hesitate to come and find me."

He clapped his hands together once and said, "Let's get started then."

Clean up time can be fun!

There's a big ole dumpster and safety attire nearby.

Since it was only going to get in the way, Seely shucked his coat before he pulled on his gloves and hard-hat, shivering slightly. Stupid Antartic weather.

Hinata, feeling that at the very least she should do something with her time rather than just play with her cat, was down and helping out with the clean up first thing in the morning.

It was... nice, rather. Doing a bit of work.

Mmm, energy.

Just make a game of it and cleanup can be fun!

Especially since she was lazier earlier that day, Turtle made sure to make up for it by making an appearance to help out with the project.

For all the worker watching you wanna do.

He's around, wading through debris.

It had taken a lot of time and effort to get a snowball and then go through the work of tracking Fraser down.

A whole lot.

So much, in fact, there had to be so much more he could be doing with his time instead of throwing a half melted ball of snow at Fraser. "VENGEANCE!"

Fraser didn't expect a snowball to pelt him in the neck. At all.

He turned, fingers swiping at the cold, cold snow and said, "Are you more insane than usual?"

Because Wade was sneaky. Like a fox.

"There's a distinct possibility of that being true," He replied.

"Where did you even get a snowball?" he asked, rubbing at his now stinging and cold neck.

"Juuust past the causeway," Deadpool replied. "And it took a lot of work, so you better appreciate it."

"Oh yes, I always appreciate a freezing cold ball heaved at my neck," he said, making a face. "You did all that just for one snowball for me?"

"...pretty much."

Because that's what you did. Really.

"I don't know if that's sweet or insane," Fraser said. "I think I'll go with a little of both."

"That's probably for the best," Wade replied, nodding seriously. "It's the usual response."

"Why are you bored enough to go lobbing snowballs at me?" Fraser asked.

"I'm not bored per say..."

Wade scuffed his foot on the ground.

"Just looking for things to do."

"You're bored," he said, moving closer. "Everything all right?"

Wade waved his hand vaguely. "The usual... Things. Stuff."

A beat.

"I could go get another one if you wanted to throw a snowball back."

"Or I could just throw some dirt," he said, picking a small handful and chucking it at Wade. "Anything you need to talk about?"

"Hey now!" Wade brushed his suit off, frowning at him. "That was uncalled for."

He was taking a long time with the brushing of dirt off.

"So... you're in a stable and healthy and adult and completely non-killy relationship, right?"

"I'd like to think so," he said after a pause. "She does own guns but I've never really done anything wrong. We'll be at a year in October."

"Which is adorable and I'll hafta find you guys something nice," Wade replied. "Maybe some sort of romantic getaway to the Savage Land. It's the latest craze."

"That's very kind of you to think of us," Fraser said. "It's my first long term relationship. This is my longest."

So then he wasn't the best person to ask for advice on this then...

"You and me both," He replied, kicking the ground again.

"Not a good response?" Fraser asked, frowning.

"You guys dated first, right? There was none of that with me an' Arashi there. So... you know. I'm thinking people do this whole wooing thing for a reason now. Before I thought it was just an attempt to get free meals and entertainment for sexy fun time."

"Yes," he said. "I sometimes think we're still dating. But, yes, we dated for nearly four months before the word love even came about."

"And the whole... thing. You guys worked that out," Wade said, being vague like a vague thing that's vague. "How?"

"With Victoria?" Fraser asked. "Well, we fought a little. We didn't have sex for awhile. We talked a lot. Other times, we just sat with each other quietly. She tried to understand my time with her even though I don't think she wanted to think about that. She made sure she was there if she thought I needed her and I did the same."

"So... time, huh?" Well that sucked.

"Well, yes," he admitted. "But also understanding on both sides. We didn't completely ignore each other but things were, understandably, different. It was easier to get past it with her there."

"Hrrmm." Wade nodded. "Thanks. Now... about that dirtball..."

He might have been pickign one up to throw back now.

"You're going to throw something at someone who just gave you somewhat meaningful advice?" Fraser asked, backing away.

"Well, yeah. Pretty much," Wade replied, throwing it at his head. "Because any sort of real emotional conversation just gets awkward."

Fraser managed to duck, just barely, before shooting a glare at Wade. "Would you rather we hug?"

"And lose what little man cred we have now?"

"Ah, right," Fraser said. "We've lost man credibility?"

"All that sissy fighting," Wade reminded him. "Slaps aren't manly."

"You start them!" Fraser reminded him because he had to.

"But I always have the crazy fighting skills to back me up if people try to point out the slap fights."

A beat.

"Other than now."

Another beat.

"Shut up."

Fraser walked closer and patted Deadpool's shoulder. It just felt like the right time.

"Don't make me regret the not hitting you thing," Wade grumped, arms crossed over his chest.

"You wouldn't hit me," Fraser said and then added, "Friend."

Oh, the squinting in Fraser's direction at that.

"I've killed people for less." You know. years ago now. "And various other threats of the life."
