Stark Industries [Saturday]

Bridge is here, a sheaf of papers spread out on the counter in front of him. A closer look at the papers would reveal that half of them seemed to be blueprints of some sort, and the other half lists that might just be of a wedding-y nature.

Bridge believes in multi-tasking, and Stark Industries is open.

Multi-tasking was always a good thing to have.

Add listening to music into that and Tony would really approve. As it was he was taking a rare break from work--mostly because he was still waiting on those parts from Pepper--to check on his employees.

"Bridge."

"Mr. Stark! Sir! Hi!" Bridge looks up from his notes and grins.

Frowning slightly, Tony leaned over to look at the notes.

Politely ignoring them? Ha! Never.

"Wedding plans?"

"Yep," Bridge didn't really mind the invasion of privacy. Mostly because the whole topic still made him kind of ridiculously happy. So it's no surprise that there's a goofy grin that appears on his face. "Next month. So there's, um. A lot of planning to do."

"Huh. I didn't think that was legal."

"Getting married in August?" Bridge frowns.

Tony just stared at him like he was the slow kid. "it's you getting married, right?"

"Yes?"

"Let me guess... to Harris, who I'm just going to assume is a man," Tony said, still giving him that look and speaking slowly so he could follow.

"You assume corr- oh. Oh!" Bridge says, now seeing where Tony's going with this. "It's legal in Calfornia now. And even if it weren't legal in *this* now, it's legal in *my* time and a little time travel never hurt anyone- well, okay, no, that's a lie, 1936 London kind of sucked big time. And... yeah, now I can think of a lot of examples of really crappy time travel related events. Never mind."

Tony stared for a moment longer. "Right."

He shook his head and brushed off the lingering oddness of this entire conversation. "Isn't that a bit last minute for planning?"

"Things are sort of heating up back home," Bridge admits. "We wanted to make sure he'd be able to come with me. I don't think my CO can refuse if he's *family* by the time the issue comes up."

"Military?" That really got an eyebrow raise from Tony.

"Space Patrol Delta," Bridge says, gesturing to the badge on his uniform. "We deal with interplanetary threats."

"And they're okay with you--" He waved his hand in a vague gesture that might have meant 'gay' but was mostly just... a vague gesture. "--marrying a man?"

Vague gestures were nothing new to Bridge, really. He shrugs. "That kind of stopped being an issue for a lot of people when aliens started moving in next door, you know?"

"Hmm." Tony shrugged. "I guess it would. Pick a new thing to hate."

Bridge snorts. "Actually, most people are okay with aliens. Doesn't mean they don't find other things to hate, though." Like mutants, which is something he knows all too well."

Maybe in a few years and movie crossovers Tony would get that one.

"Humanity enjoys that a lot," Tony said dryly, looking at the blueprints now.
