Stark Industries [Saturday]

The first thing Bridge notices when he unlocks the shop is the pair of tiny pirates that zoom in ahead of him.

"Oh no you don't," Bridge says warningly, seeing one of the pirates scramble up the shelves and head for a particularly shiny bit of scrap metal. "That's not treasure," he says, scooping the pirate up and placing him back down on the floor. "Well, okay, it is, if you're into building things, because that particular metal might be just what you need to complete your invention, but somehow I don't think that's what you're planni- HEY!" and now he's chasing after the other pirate.

Stark Industries is open, though under (very tiny) seige.

As long as they weren't going for Tony's coffee supply...

Tony nodded, sipping a cup of what was left of his last bit of coffee. He tilted his head slightly at the siege of pirates. "Bridge."

"Sir!" Bridge acknowledges as he tries to scoop up one of the pirates. "They keep trying to steal stuff," he says, making a face.

"We could test out the repulsor technology," Tony suggested.

Maybe a bit too gleefully.

"Would it hurt them?" Bridge asks worriedly. Nuisance or not, he didn't exactly want to kill them.

"It's designed as non-lethal."

For people at a normal height.

"And I have yet to give it a real test run."

"Well..." okay, the idea of doing a test run was really appealing, not to mention- "Ow!" Bridge yelps as the pirate in his hand slashes at him with his tiny sword. "That totally wouldve hurt if I hadn't been wearing gloves. Okay, I'm convinced." as long as it wasn't really going to hurt them anyway.

Tony grinned, disappearing back into the work room before returning with an overly complex device attached to his arm. He was still hooking it into the power source in his chest as he walked.

"There's a fire extinguisher in the corner if this goes wrong."

"Noted," Bridge says, wide-eyed. And maybe edging slightly over in the direction of said fire extinguisher, yes.

Tony nodded once and there was the high pitched whine of something charging and...

Okay it worked. With enough force to throw Tony back against the far wall behind him.

"I didn't expect that."

"Are you okay?" Bridge asks worriedly. "At least we know it works! If possibly in need of a little bit of fine tuning, because that certainly wasn't the intended result."

"Not really," Tony admitted, standing up stiffly. Oh, his back was not the best fan of him right now.

"It's definitely got the whole 'repulsing' thing going on though!" Bridge says encouragingly. "...In the wrong direction, admittedly."

"Maybe if we decrease the power level a few percents," Tony said, rubbing his back. "Or increase the range..."

Z was bored and annoyed.

Clearly this meant Bridge should entertain her on someone else's time.

"Briiiiiidge," she whined as she entered Stark Industries. "There are tiny pirates! And one of them tried to steal my earrings!" Which, yes, she was wearing.

"Zeeeeee," Bridge replies, echoing her tone of voice. "They keep trying to steal the circuit boards."

"Are the circuit boards attached to your ears?"

"Well, no," Bridge says. "But tiny swords? Still hurt."

"You're really not wrong there," Z said, ducking as another tiny pirate made a mad leap for her giant-sized (to them--okay, to everyone) pirate-esque earrings.

"Figures today would be the one day I didn't bring RIC to work with me," Bridge says. "He'd have fun chasing those guys around."

"I would not be opposed to that," Z said grimly. "So what are you up to, aside from fending off pirates? Seems like I hardly ever see you anymore."

Bridge shrugs. "Pretty much just work and rebuilding Logan's place. I thought I was gonna be TAing again this session but I guess I wasn't needed or something."

"Yeah, Logan--" Z paused to swat the determined pirate as he made another go at her head "--decided to quit teaching or something. So I'm, you know, in the same boat."

"At least it's a boat without monster attacks," Bridge points out. "Just tiny annoying pirates."

This gave Z an idea. "Hey, maybe we could tiny card jail the pirates. I bet you could fit like five on one card."

"Would they just disappear after their buddies left Fandom?" Bridge wonders.
