Chilly Boulder, Wednesday Afternoon
Romeo had slept in that morning, and, through the grace of god or good genes, had managed to avoid what should have been an impressive hangover after a day of taking full advantage of the island's sudden free booze policy.
Mostly. He was still turning a little green when he thought about the idea of ice cream with chunky stuff in it. But he'd agreed to meet his girlfriend for an ice cream date, and so he would bear up and just not look at that portion of the case.
He just hoped the clerk wouldn't start singing.
[OOC: For one, but open. Up early for SP.]

"Ano, koibito," she said, inspecting the selection, "What are you in the mood for? I'm starving."

Yurika quickly placed an order (http://a.abcnews.com/images/GMA/nm_banana_split_080429_mn.jpg) with the hapless clerk, smirking as she asked for extra whipped cream and cherries. "Starrrrrving. Two classes back-to-back take a lot out of a girl! I think it's all the thinking."

He quirked his head, then took a bite of the ice cream. "Did you know they made bras with cute cartoon animals on them?"

Because, of course, that was such a difficult task.
He took another bite of the ice cream, making sure to get some banana. "There is one other thing she put me in mind of," he said thoughtfully. "Yurika, when do you think our anniversary would be? We're coming up on six months, as I reckon it." but there was the egg and the dance and the singing and a couple other things, and Romeo wasn't sure where to count from.

Then his other words hit, and she paused, spoon of ice cream half-way to her mouth as she stared at him. "E? Nani? Anniversary?" This was clearly an idea that she was unfamiliar with.

It took visible effort, but he shoved that trauma out of his mind. "As in, we have been seeing each other for a while and sometimes people mark that in some way?"

Well. *He* would have sulked about it eventually, but that could have waited until after the dance.

Yurika dipped a cherry in the whipped cream as she thought. "So, where do you think we should count from?" she asked, popping the fruit into her mouth. "Date, singing, sex, or your return from Paris?" So many options, it made her head spin.

plus my mun kind of passed out halfway through the date, he told her, pinkening. "I should have asked."He closed his eyes. "From the roof," he decided. "Not that I remember the date offhand, but I could learn it. It was our first real date or real kiss."

"I don't know when that was either," she confessed. "I must have written it in my planner somewhere, so we can check."
