SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!

Wall-E was not a big talker, so instead of a speech, his presentation consisted of a multi media presentation of songs from old Musicals, especially Hello Dolly, and somewhat childishly drawn pictures that told the story of how he met and fell in love with another robot, and how together they rallied the humans and robots alike for the greater benefit of both kinds, and of the environment.

soo sorry for the lateness of the post. RL had me uber busy all day.

Victor was in his seat, flipping through a superhero magazine as he waited for the presentation to start.

Johnny took the stage, Edwin Starr's War (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cv5BYEOQYLo) playing from his speaker.

"Hi! Johnny 5 here, and I'm here to tell you about how I learned that it is wrong to disassemble, kill, make dead. You see, I was built originally, as a weapon." The red tool box mounted on his shoulder swung up and forward. "This was originally a laser gun." He sounded ashamed.

"But one day, a miracle happened. On my way back from a demonstration for the Department of Defense, I was struck by lightening. Before that, I have no memory. I was mindless, inert, non-sentient. Merely a product of whatever programing the humans gave me.

"But when that bolt hit me, I became aware, sentient, alive. It was wonderful, beautiful. Being alive is the best feeling, and the best thing ever. I never want anyone to take that away from me, so how can I take it from others? I can't. I realized that killing is wrong, mean, bad, unnaceptable."

Sorry for the lateness of this post. See Wall-E's presentation for why.

"What is it to be human?" he began, looking out at the audience, grinning. "What makes you who you are? Is it a chip? Is it brains? If you cut off a hand and replace it with a hook, is it still your hand??" He made a hook gesture with his own hand, and waggled his fingers. "Or is it something more?" He started pacing a bit.

"I understand there are different...dimensions. Worlds. Where I am from, replacements are commonplace. Organs, bodies, bits and pieces. Why, you are still a human if the only part of you that still remains is your brain, stuck inside the body of a motorball player, still not a machine. Yet...if the body is flesh, and the mind is a chip, is that not human?" he asked, a wicked smile on his face as he scratched his forehead absently. "And what is a human but one lead by destiny?"

"Destiny!" he thumped. "This is the key. And if ill-equipped to best your karma, find your destiny, then, well, the solution is to find better equipment!" he declared, with a laugh. "I, Desty Nova, am leading this fight!"

He calmed down after a moment. "Yes. Well. Back to the title of this lecture. Let's see, 'Vivisection'--always good, better when everything is fresh, yes--'Better Humans'--can't tell you how many experiments have...let's call it 'gone awry' instead of 'failed' because even their voices have purpose, have drive, inspire me even with their wails, yes--'Upgrading Cyborgs'. Yes, upgrades to fight against karma and destiny. Finding out the passion...and bringing it out! Tailoring the body to search for that passion, that is how to create a better human. So what if I did not ask first, they're better off" he muttered before laughing his signature laugh again.

He smiled. It appeared wolfish. "If anyone wants to discus further, I will be available. Destiny, upgrading, swapping your left and right hands..."

Cable was keeping a very careful eye on Desty from his seat. And lurking, mainly.

Athena listened to basically just enough of this presentation to get the gist before slipping out the back, lest the presenter get any ideas.
