Bridge... is a few minutes late to work today, because it's apparently "take your suddenly weetiny fiance to work" day and that meant getting ready took a bit longer than usual. RIC is also along because- well, because kids and dogs are usually a good mix. Even robot dogs, yes.

Curious to see if his boss is also a kid today, Bridge settles in to work. Well, okay, he's supervising Xander and RIC, so there's technically not a lot of *settling* at all. Stark Industries is open, though.

"Hi Bridge," Tony said, waving cheerfully and still carrying a bucket of ice cream.

There's really only a minimal amount of deduction required to figure out who this kid is, since anyone else would've come through the front door and not down the stairs. "Hey, Tony," Bridge waves back. "Leftovers from breakfast?" he tilts his head at the ice cream bucket.

"Jarvis said I could," Tony said, hugging the container close.

"He did, huh?" Not... that Bridge has room to talk, given that he'd been fully prepared to make a breakfast of spaghetti and pancakes.

Tony nodded solemnly, going to climb up onto the counter. "Can I use the workroom?"

Bridge is very amused by the fact that his boss is basically asking him if he can use his own stuff. "Well..." he taps his chin thoughtfully. There's a lot of stuff in there that might not be kid-friendly. On the other hand, it *is* Tony's stuff. And besides, there's Jarvis, and RIC, and- well, okay, that kinda dumb robot would probably just spray him with a fire extinguisher if anything happened. "Can you leave the door open while you're in there?"

"Really?!" Tony beamed.

"Really," Bridge grins at his tinified-boss's enthusiasm. "As long as you're careful, I don't see why not."

"Can-can-can I build a car?!"

He liked cars.

Oh yes, there are definitely pictures happening before this weekend is over. "It can't be too big or you won't be able to get it out the door," Bridge points out.

Because Bridge was in cahoots with Jarvis to embarrass Tony as much as possible.

"I'll build a small one so I can drive!"

He gots tools!

Mostly plastic ones.

Plastic tools were stupid if you asked Tony. But that was because he was allowed to play with real ones.

"HI!"

"Hi!" Xander was working on - read "Getting bored with" one of those pound the pegs through the board games. "I gots a hammer." He held it up, red plastic head first. "It doesn't hit very hard though."

Tony looked at the toys and then at Xander. "Whysit plastic?"

Xander shrugged, making a face. "I dunno. It's hard to make stuff with plastic."

"Maybe." Tony dug into his pocket for a screwdriver. "I have a real one!"

"Ooh, lucky." Xander stared at it with interest. "Whatcha gonna do with it?"

"I'mma make a circuit board like my father!"

"Your dad's a circuit board?" Not that he actually knew what one of those was.

Tony gave him a look that clearly implied he was certain he was smarter than this kid already.

That's why his mom wouldn't let him go to normal school.

"Nuh-uh. He makes them and rockets and junk!"

"Rockets? That go in space?"

"Nuh-uh. Like the kind that you shoot at people!"
