The Arms Hotel Lobby, Tuesday [8/26]

There was something shiny and sparkly on the ring finger of Mary's left hand. If she wasn't going to be getting married anytime in the near future, she was at least going to have a real diamond in her ring. Make that diamonds. Mary's ring had gotten so big that it was throwing off a glare.

This was inspired by sitting through two "informational" sessions on diamonds in order to get a gemstone pendant as a free gift. The guy kept going on and on about how you could "upgrade" your engagement and wedding rings, neither of which I have. And then it hit me that Mary should upgrade her ring...
