The York Gallery; Sunday [ 09/14 ]

It was the final day before the gallery shut down in preparation for the new exhibit and, as such, the final day for pieces to be submitted. Charlotte was busy at work in the actual gallery, going through the submissions so far with a clipboard to meticulously keep track of each one so that she could start planning the layout of the show. She'd always love to see more entries, but she had to admit, if she got the whole thing planned out and then something came in to throw it all off, she might just have to pout a lot about it.

And she changed all the signs on the windows, as well, to one more applicable:

Because she's never nearly as busy as she makes herself seem to be.

During the afternoon, Angela brought in a second canvas (http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/8773/painting2dv7.jpg) to go with the one she'd submitted last week.

Hoshi stopped by with a couple of watercolors, one of an alien-looking landscape (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v325/thena8572/alien_landscape.png) and another of man's best friend (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v325/thena8572/best_friend.png).

Mary had someone from the hotel help her bring a large canvas (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v325/thena8572/desert.png) over to the gallery.

Katchoo happened to pass by the gallery on her way back from apparently getting a job, and stared at the sign in the window for a very long time as she smoked her way through half a pack of cigarettes before walking away.

"Ah, what the hell . . ."

She returned an hour or so later and dropped off a single large pencil-on-paper sketch (http://www.dyqatt.com/fh/smoke&mirrors.jpg).

Issun proudly handed over his finished painting (http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo343/strokesofgenius_album/IssunsAmmyPainting.jpg).

Michael's mun was really not the artist he was, but he slipped in at some point to submit a pencil sketch. Of Ino.

Amber submitted her simple painting (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/serenityunleashed/Amberspainting.jpg), such as it was. She did think it pretty though.

Johnny submitted a few works of Savannah's

1) Beach scene (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/serenityunleashed/The-Glory-Revealed-Clean.jpg) done in pastels. It's the ocean beneath the full moon
2) Detailed sketch of Johnny (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/serenityunleashed/02fk8-1.jpg) done in charcoals.
3) Color pencil sketch of the school.
