Katchoo might still have been thinking a lot about class yesterday -- not so much about the subject matter itself as about her conversation with Francine. Which just led to thoughts about Francine calling her self-portrait in the gallery beautiful, which in turn led to thoughts about how maybe she was reading too much into all of it.

Sigh.

She was sketching behind the counter again, headphones plugged into her battered old Discman with a Griffin Silver CD cranked up to top volume. "Heart in Hand," to be specific, and yes, she had the "controversial" album cover: the one with the woman holding a human heart dripping blood, that'd gotten banned by outraged family values groups. Said album cover was being recreated in pencil form in her sketchbook as she listened, and funny how the woman on the cover seemed to bear a striking resemblance to someone she knew . . .

[OOC: No OCD, and open! Couldn't find an actual pic of the album cover, woe. Will be disappearing for a couple of hours in the early afternoon to do a passport pickup run, but pick up pings when I get back. Meant to get this up hours ago but I spent FOUR HOURS scanning a single document today, and our scanner computer is a dinosaur. AUGH.]
