The York Gallery [9/25]

She might have been in possession of boyparts and not girlparts today, but that didn't mean Eve was going to shirk her gallery duties. It did, however, mean that she was in possession of a very, very large cup of coffee as she walked in.

She flicked the lights on, made a sweep of the exhibit, got the coffee pot going -- because did you really think one cup was going to get her through this? -- and settled in at her desk.

Coffee, tea, nibbles, and a quietly resigned Eve.

Charlotte made sure to check into the gallery first before she came into it. She remembered all too well how something like this had happened that night of her very first opening, but had, thankfully, swept over her.

She was not so lucky this time, but, knowing that Eve had been inflicted that night and that she was working today, too, she saw that Eve was more of an Adam, and entered the lobby with trepidation.

"This is totally normal for a thing to happen around here, right?" she asked, which had been her whole mantra since waking up with a 'stache and much more than a sock in the pants.

"Sadly, yeah," Eve said, looking up from the solitaire game she'd been playing on the computer. "Welcome to the wacky."

Charlotte gave a little dissatisfied grunt. "You'd have thought maybe this sort of thing wouldn't repeat itself, but that's what I get for thinking I was safe. I almost feel like I've been officially indoctrinated now."

"On the bright side, at least the Fandom wacky is never permanent," Eve said with as much helpful as she could manage. "A couple days at most and you'll be back to yourself."

"It lasted just that one day last time, didn't it?" Charlotte asked, thickened brows furrowing with concern.

"I think so, yeah," Eve said. "One or two days, I forget. Kinda tried to ignore it."

"And look what happened," Charlotte said, putting her hands up slightly, "it happened again."

Not that she was blaming Eve by any means, of course. She was just venting her frustration.

"That's Fandom for you," Eve said with a shrug. "Could be worse."

Except she wasn't going to try and list how, because knowing Fandom? Then that would happen, too.

Fai was very much surprised to have woken up female - and none of his clothes fit! So he came to the gallery, looking for Charlotte. Maybe he could borrow something of hers, or they could go shopping...

"Hi," Eve said with a smile. "Can I help you?"

There was a moment while Charlotte, still in the gallery, had to stop a moment and wonder if she knew this person. She realized that trying to figure out who other people were sort of went against her whole theory of ignoring it as best as one could, but there was something familiar....

Mod yer gallery-ing.

I get to play boy!Eve again. This fills me with ohsomuch glee.
