Teddy ran into work a little bit late tonight. he almost forgot what day it was until he saw a commercial for that talk show Tyra Banks apparently had.

...he was pretty sure something was wrong when you only remembered what day you worked based on when a silly show was on.

Who wasn't nervous about his boss finding out at all. Really.

It was Wednesday, so all the customary things were in order for an ANTM night with Teddy at the gallery, with one notable change.

"Hey," he said as he came in and automatically went around the desk to set up the laptop, and, of course, give Teddy a quick kiss in greeting. "I got Thai from that new place instead of Chinese. That cool?"

If it wasn't...He'd order up a pizza and eat all of Teddy's share of the Thai.

"Thai?" Teddy's face brightened a little. "That sounds awesome. Did you get that noodle dish?"

"Yeah," Chad nodded, setting one noodle dish in front of Teddy. "And that rice stuff."

"You rock," Teddy informed him. "I'll hafta bring you some sushi on Friday."

"You do," Chad said, nodding in agreement as he pulled out a pair of chopsticks from the take-out bag and settled in. "And then we'll have to see just how sick the burritos'll make us."

Teddy snorted, reaching for his own chopsticks. "I say we buy an entire bag of them and see how many we can manage. Oh! And watch bad scifi movies."

That was his dream date there.

"...How bad?"

"Produced by the Scifi channel bad."

"Oof." Chad grunted, shaking his head.

And then he realized what they were watching.

"But not as bad as this bad, right?"

"More violence in my kinda bad," Teddy said, shoveling a mouthful of the pad thai into his mouth.

"I think we could do that," Chad said with a nod. "Saturday night, maybe?"

"Saturday sounds good," Teddy replied, leaning over to give him a quick kiss on the cheek. And then wipe that spot. Noodley lips.

Chad grunted in amusement at the attempt to recover from the noodley lips, wondering if Teddy thought he actually minded, and leaned back to give a slightly less noodley kiss back.

"You know," he commented, "they really gotta start doing a better job at their editing. Learn the meaning of the word 'subtly.'"

"The girl with the accent, you think?" Teddy asked, leaning against him a little as he turned back to the TV.

"Well," Chad considered, shifting in hopes to make Teddy more comfortable, "maybe. At least they're giving us a few obvious editing jobs."

"They did the phone call home," Teddy replied. "That's usually a big give away."

"That is true; they did that with the transexual last week, remember?"

Teddy nodded quickly. "Maybe they're faking us out this week, though. The birdy girl is getting a lot of screentime too."

Chad tilted his head slightly. "Birdy really is a good way to describe her..."

"She's like a crane," Teddy said, nodding toward her. "Long legs and neck."

...I'm special.
