Settling into the warm water, Temari sighed and closed her eyes. She'd forgotten how relaxing this could be.

Even if the swimsuits were rather odd.

"CANNONBALL!" Jamie shouted right before jumping into the hot tub with a big splash.

"For the record that was just about jumping into the hot tub. It has nothing to do with Sam Guthrie."

Wiping water off her face, Temari gave him a Look. "This is supposed to be relaxing."

"I'm feeling relaxed," Jamie said pushing himself over to a seat next to her. "I'm having fun! And look: me relaxed. See how that works?"

He splashed a little water in her direction just to show exactly how that works.

"I'll dunk you, brat," Temari warned.

"Gosh, a nubile ninja woman in a bathing suit dunking me," Jamie laughed. "Sounds like fun to me."

That did get a splash. "Such a brat," She said, laughing.

"You like it," Jamie said wiping his face. "Don't even try to deny it."

Temari lifted her chin proudly. "I wouldn't dream of it."

Jamie splashed another wave at her and leaned back against the tub. "So is this what you do for fun back at home?"

Magnanimously ignoring that, Temari sunk into the spring a little lower.

"When I get to, yes."

"Okay I get how this can be relaxing," he said poking her leg with his toe. "But I'm not sure I could sit here longer than ten minutes just... sitting."

"Always have to be moving," She remarked, smiling faintly at the poke. "You need to learn how the calm before movement is just as nice."

"That's hard to do when you can be doing anything you want at the same time," Jamie said poking her again. "Leads to impatience. And naked bungee jumping."

One of the many hardships suffered in being with him. Really.

"Are you going to be doing that again?"

Jamie shrugged. "Anything's possible. Or maybe I'll send a dupe out to learn calligraphy. Sometimes it's hard to make a decision when really you can do anything you want at the same time."

"Doesn't that get difficult to handle sometimes?"

"You have no idea," Jamie replied rolling his eyes. "Especially since any time I absorb a dupe the memory is non-linear. It's like getting a bunch of memories from a week ago but it feels like it just happened."

Temari frowned at that. "How do you make sense of it all?"

"Have you ever noticed that I don't always make a lot of sense?"

"Most of the things people say don't make sense to me," Temari replied. "I've gotten started on your geography so far."

"Geography? Here?" Jamie said tilting his head looking curious. "Like where?"

"America. Europe. Which should I look into next?"

"Probably Asia," Jamie suggested. "Are you just learning about the land masses or are you looking at the cultures too?"

"Just the landmasses at the moment," She replied. "It's a daunting task. How can you have so much land here?"

"Lots of volcanos?" Jamie suggested. "No idea. I'm not big on geology. So are you studying any world in particular or just... well one world in particular?"
