The Boards - Tuesday - Rehearsal - 10/07
Geoffrey has had an idea.
It's a relatively simple idea, but he thinks it might be a nice thank you to the actors for all their hard work since it kept him eating. Relatively.
As such, he was smiling as he opened the door to the theatre today, ready to get down to business.
[ocd coming up!]

Discussion
"I'm the director. Yes. And this is entirely unorthodox, not that most of you would know that, but I have a question for you all:
"What do you think would be the best use of funds on this production? Costumes, or a set?
"Or hell, anything else you can think of. Hit me.
"Not, you know, literally."
[discussion! ping and crossping as you like]
Re: Discussion
No, no one should ever ask Cal anything like this ever. The unapologetic grin on his face made it clear that he didn't think he should be taken seriously, either, though.
Re: Discussion
Much like a parent to a child asking for ice cream at six in the morning. Though he does seem to be amused.

"I'll take it for consideration."

"There was that crazy seagull at the banana stand..."

Re: Discussion
"I do have another suggestion though, but for a future production." Yes, he's thinking ahead already. "A show where there's nothing. Just a bare stage and the actors themselves. A strange idea, I'm certain, but there it is nevertheless."
Re: Discussion
Beat.
"Costumes was a thought, though."

"Yes, I do like that idea, myself. Also, I've always preferred comfortable actors, myself."
Re: Discussion
"Why can't we just do some kind of fundraiser and raise money for both costumes and a set?" she asked.
