A very secluded corner of the park, late morning
Despite her sheltered, convent school upbringing, and generally innocent image she presented, Meg was much smarter then most people thought. After all her father ran the biggest organized crime syndicate in the country and she'd learned by listening in on many conversations and meetings when she was supposed to be asleep. Or even better, by being ignored because she was just a young girl.
Well she'd show them.
It wasn't hard to slip away from her bodyguards, they were more muscle then brains, and make her way to the park. There was someone she needed to see.
[Due to RL Meg will only be here for one. But feel free to use for all you park-like needs.]

Gavin lit another cigarette as he walked, searching for a familiar face, familiar features that wouldn't be so familiar after he got done with him.
Prison had taken him away from everything he'd known. Pizza, women, beer, everything. He'd heard about his mother dying through a goddamn postcard, heard about his sister moving to Switzerland from a guard.
That witness was going to pay and pay dearly. Gavin would make him regret ever snitching to the cops. Gavin would break that finger that had been pointed at him during his trial. Break every born.
And he'd smile while doing it.
With an evil grin, he stubbed out his cigarette and walked away from the park.

Oh so casually.
Not like he was planning on meeting anyone there at all.
"Good morning."

"Are you going to church, too? What a coincidence!" he made up.

Funny how she stepped closer.
"And I always listen to him."

"It is very important to listen to our parents," Ben said. "They always know what's best."
It was very clear he was fighting back an attack of the giggles at that statement.

"I've missed you so much," she told him.

Drawn by something, or possibly just directed by the script, Meg leaned closer for a kiss as music swelled in the background.

...it really was amazing they hadn't been caught yet.

"I have to go. Same time tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow," she promised. "I love you."

Someday they'd be able to celebrate their love.
Just not today.
