Town Hall, Saturday Morning

Striding into Town Hall like he owned the place-- and soon he would-- Tony smirked evilly.

"This town won't know what hit them when I get done with them," He announced to no one. None of the usual aides were around at that one moment to hear the evil statement.

He had his eyes set on the Mayor's office and that's just where he went.

"Soon I'll buy all the property here and I can have my revenge on these peasants. They never should have mocked me when I was young. They'll never mock me again! No one will see it coming! No one!"

Was that maniacal laughter? Why yes, yes it was.

[[Open like a town hall. Because everyone just wanders into important places to talk to people they don't know are actually there! ...and posted with permission of our esteemed mayor.]]

Tyler Durden was all but new in town, and more than a little confused. The cult that had raised him hadn't been much for explaining the facts of life. All he knew was his mission: Remain a virgin for God until he could find a human sacrifice that would please his lord.

Naturally, he wandered into town hall for help with this mission.

"Hi!" he cheerfully told the man in the office. "I got a question, if you c'n help me with it?"

The man's intense dark eyes were a little frightening, but the cult's leaders had been very firm on one thing: Bow to no man, only to God. So Tyler straightened from his meek posture, as if there were steel in his backbone.

"I'm Tyler Durden, sir, I just got here from Little Bear Creek? I was wonderin' what kinda things there were to do in these parts."

"Way-ull, see, sir, that's the thing," Tyler drawled in his thick but ever-changing Southern accent. "I got this letter sayin' I'm s'posed to teach chemistry? But I don't have much fancy book-learnin'. Not sure if that means I got a curse on me or not."

[OOC: Fleeing, SP until this evening, sorry!]

After having several macchiatos at the Perk (and not having to go to the bathroom, thank you very much), Charles finally plucked up the courage to confront his father.

"Tony Stark," Charles said, walking up to the desk. He tried to look as all-powerful as a Stark should be.

"I'm Charles Bass," he said, impressed by the dramatic chair spinning. He was even more powerful than Charles had ever imagined. "I have something to tell you..."

"I have to tell you..." Charles turned his head away dramatically. It was too much to look into Tony's eyes as he said it. "You are my father!"

Gavin was going to have to buy cigarettes soon. He was fast running out. He needed to get used to buying these things again and not trading for them like he'd done for ten years while incarcerated in the battleground of devil. Ten years.

So long. So long. He'd missed so much. He'd been so lonely. His roll of toilet paper had eventually been used and he'd found solace in the arms of his thin, scratchy blanket.

He was going to make someone pay. Soon. Now.

Hmm, town hall. Gavin stalked around, trying to find who he was looking for. The cigarette burned, the smoke flitted.

Empty.

Gavin growled. He could run but he couldn't hide. He turned to leave.

Jean-Paul slunk into the office and leaned insouciantly in the doorway. "Tony," he said in a horrible French accent with no -Canadian about it. "'Ow 'ave you been?"

"Oui," Jean-Paul said. "It is I, Jean-Paul Beaubier!"

Robin had not wanted to get out of bed this morning, such was her dread of the day. But here she was, wearing a top that caught just below her heaving, voluptuous bosom, and hopefully did not betray the secret inside her womb.

As soon as she arrived, she took a seat, feeling light-headed.

She heaved a sigh wearily and looked up. "...yes? Who are you?" she asked breathily, as that was the only way she spoke now.

Robin's eyes widened, her hand flying to her mouth. "But...Mr. Summers?"
