The Arms Hotel - Monday Morning

Liz woke up feeling like she never wanted to eat food again. It took her a moment or two before the events of the past weekend had come flooding back.

She was just glad that she hadn't really made that big a fool of herself.

It had taken her a bit longer than usual to get ready before she rushed to work, opening up slightly late, as she got everything set up she knew that she definitely wasn't going to be telling Hellboy about the events of the weekend any time soon.

John was reasonably packed up. All the hardware was checked, cleaned, and doublechecked. He waved to Liz, wondering if she had a minute or two.

Liz definitely had time, "hey John," she said going over.

"How's life, Lizzers?" he asked, smirking a bit. It was a bit drooping. "Please tell me you've been practicing," he said, bringing a small blue light into his hand. "Because if you haven't, you may be in trouble. We all may be in trouble."

"I've been practicing a little," especially since her attack the other week, "what's wrong John?" she was concerned.

"They're back. Or they've always been here, it makes no difference. I killed one, on a business trip back in my world. The Terminators are out there," he said, clenching his fist, which glowed a faint blue.

"Terminators?" Liz wasn't entirely sure what they were but they definitely didn't sound good.

John was grim. "Robots. They're covered with skin, so they have eyes, hair, everything, but underneath is a machine. A machine that is really. hard. to kill. You see something like that, where it takes a hit that should kill someone? Just run. Or? Light it up," he said, smacking his fist into his open palm. "That's what I did with the last one."

Liz nodded, "I'll keep an eye out," she said.

"Take care of yourself and those around you," he said. "Not everyone has a power or the duty. How....how was the weekend? Things were...not normal." To put it mildly.

"No, they definitely weren't," Liz sighed, "I was pregnant with twins and I was angry with their father,"

Liz sadly had no idea what was in store for her in her future canon.

He laughed. "Sounds like you'd be ready for actual motherhood. Name one after me."

Liz smiled, "I will," she said.
