El Burrito Loco, Monday Night

Usually, when Tyler needed a drink, he went to Caritas and made a private bet with himself about the zombies. If none of them lost limbs in his first hour at the bar, he got an extra shot.

But tonight was not any night, and Tyler didn't feel like dealing with the people who might be at Caritas. So he found himself across the island, at the new Mexican place. He downed tequila and nibbled on chips with queso.

The telenovela playing on the TV over the bar made him feel a little sick to his stomach. Or that might have been the tequila.

[OOC: For one, but open for your Mexican food needs.]

Looking for something that was the furthest from a horrible French accent that he could find, Tony ended up at the new Mexican place.

Sometimes a nice, cheap burrito cured all that ailed you. If not that... the tequila would do an excellent job at making it forgotten.

"A bottle, por favor."

Give him a moment to notice Tyler.

"Something like that," Tony replied, looking startled for a moment before smoothly making his way toward him. He couldn't be rude after all. "Back to normal too, I see."

"A corpse?" He'd been alive before the whole-- town hall. "I think it's a mutual banning if that's the case."

Tony stared at him for a moment, trying to figure out if that was a bizarre attempt at a joke or not.

"Another one of those strange things about the island that I don't want to know?"

[identity profile] not-ironmaiden.livejournal.com 2008-10-13 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
"That's what I thought," Tony said, nodding and looking expectantly for his own shot glass and bottle.

Fandom was hell on his liver.

"I'll keep that in mind," He said dryly. Ah! There was the tequila. "So--" He took a shot.

"--I think we're even now."

"I was plotting to take over the island," Tony replied, like that was the dumbest thing he'd ever heard. "I was nowhere near my right mind."

A beat.

"And you certainly didn't object."

"You were begging to be seduced," Tony insisted.

"You did surprisingly well for a blushing virgin," Tony remarked, downing another shot quickly.

"I was trying to give you a compliment."

"Fine," Tony said, going with that easily. "You were horrible this weekend. So much better when I was a woman. Oh, take me now you stud."

Feel the passion in his tone.

"You love me anyway," Tony said with a smirk, stealing one of Tyler's chips.

"I went about it the wrong way. The school is where you would start, not the town," Tony said dismissively. The cheese was surprisingly good...

"And apparently I had a child when I was in college."
