Trooper Station: Wednesday

Dale was more chipper than usual this morning, which is surprising considering how many phone calls they getting from the various NPC townfolk regarding the previous weekend.

"No ma'am, I'm pretty sure that if you didn't have an evil twin before the weekend you're not going to have one now. Just one of those strange events here on the island... No I doubt your husband is still an oil baron... Were you sleeping with your neighbor before this weekend? ... Well then you are still having an affair and quite frankly you should be ashamed of yourself. Ma'am?"

Dale chuckled and hung up the phone only to have it ring two seconds later.

"Fandom Police Station, Special Agent Cooper. Yes? No, sir, I'm afraid we don't know who the young woman with the spectacular breasts was. Missing person report? I'm afraid we'll need to have more than just the name 'Boob girl'. I'm sorry sir."

It was most likely going to be a long day.

"Hey Cooper," Ray called, as he sorta kinda just strode into the station, "Everything better be back to normal!" What? It didn't hurt to check or anything.

"Slept in my car," Ray informed him. He popped a toothpick into his mouth. "Had to play keep-away from the whackjobs. So, yeah, Cooper, I think the weekend 'affected' me plenty."

"Yeah, yeah, wacky island mojo, I'm gonna kick Fraser but good when he comes back," Ray muttered, flopping down on his chair in a way that made it squeak and groan for a moment. "Parents Weekend. Right."

"Oh, he's warned me. He's warned me alright." He chewed on the toothpick some more. "It's Fraser, I can not rule out the idea he's, um, responsible."

"Get to know him a little better, crazy has a habit of following him around," Ray muttered. Maybe he was just cranky. Whatever. He needed some coffee. "Didya make any fancy coffee this morning?"

Ray pushed back up out of his seat. He wandered towards the coffee machine. "So, what is that, anyway?" he asked, pouring a cup, "'Kopi Luwak'." It sounded funny. "Sounds funny."

"Nuttier, huh?" Ray eyed the cup, shrugged, and went through his usual ritual with the coffee and the chocolate. "Fits," he said, taking a sip.

"Beats usual station coffee," he said, stalking straight back to his seat. "Not that that's sayin' much."

Huh.

"Wow," he shot back, "You must really, uh, love coffee."

Yep. Weird.
