From the Docks to the Lighthouse, Wednesday

The Lucretia docked in the morning, and it took most of the time before noon to unload Tully, Twain, and his boat. Tully was the easy part of course. Years on the run had gotten him in the habit of packing light.

With a wistful sigh, Tully patted the hull of the Lucretia before it pulled back out into the bay. Then he turned towards the island.

He'd seen the castle from the deck, but at the time the chores of pulling into port had his full attention. Now he could fully boggle.

"A castle. Cleopatra sent us to an island with a castle."

Twain snorted. He didn't care if there was a castle, he was not going to be doing any jousting.

Tully shook his head and lead Twain off the docks to the street. "She's got a weird sense of humor all right, but I'm already a cowboy and a sailor and a lighthouse keeper. I'll be damned if I'm gonna be some kinda knight."

[It's open!]

The last seafarin' type of person Barbossa had run into had been Jack Sparrow, so he was a mite suspicious of the newcomer as he tromped past from working on his stolen completely legitimately procured yacht.

"Ahoy," he said cautiously.

"Be ye new here?" Barbossa asked. "I be naught recognizin' yer face."

"I be Cap'n Barbossa," Barbossa replied, holding out a grubby hand. "I be runnin' the radio station in town."

"Would I be runnin' any other kind?" Barbossa replied, giving the man a toothy smile.

Lucky Tully. Really.

"I be not that acquainted wit' other people's nuts," Barbossa informed him loftily.

"If ye can't remember what ye were talkin' about, ye should probably cut back on th' rum," Barbossa told him. "'n give it t' me fer safekeepin'."

Barbossa nodded. "It do be known t' happen."
