Jeff was in a thoroughly pleasant mood this morning. He'd met his good friend Steve, and so far, he had heard nothing about his mother returning to the island.

That didn't, however, keep him from quietly gathering objects around the hotel throughout the day, to stash underneath the desk in case there was an acute need of a barricade. Nana did her part by sleeping on said objects, which was only occasionally a burden.
