All the damage from Obie's visit was finished being fixed by now. All Tony had left to do is... try to make it better. This could take him a long time to perfect, but he was more than up to the task.

Now if only he had some coffee.

Tyler was actually carrying coffee when he got to the business, and his thermos was large enough that he might even be willing to share.

However, most of his attention was fixed on the envelope in his pocket. He knew Peter had said he was getting married. He just didn't believe it would actually happen so soon.

That would make Tony far more pleased than he'd ever admit.

"Tyler," Tony greeted, looking away from the suit for just a moment.

"Is it time to take to the skies again?" Tyler asked,a touch apprehensive even as he admired the suit. It was very nice work.

As if he'd read the narrative, he started looking for a mug. "And do you want coffee?"

"I'd never turn a cup down," Tony said, utterly serious. Just ignore that twitch of the side of his mouth. "I might actually listen to Jarvis about verifying the calculations on it first."

No, no he wouldn't.

"The calculations on coffee?" Yes, Tyler was being an ass, but he was also splashing almost half his thermos into a mug, so hopefully he'd be forgiven. "So, remember how we were supposed to go to my world this weekend? Turns out I can't do it."

Only if it was good coffee. "Oh? Plans?"

"Seems like everybody's getting married this month," Tyler exaggerated. "This guy I knew here when he was a student, he's getting married back in his home world. I just got the invitation. The weird thing is, he's a king there."

Tony just had to stare at him for a moment. "Right. Have fun with that."

"He's English," Tyler said, as if that made a difference, and then he just had to sigh. "Look, it's one of those talking animals places with knights. A wedding there's going to be bizarre."

He was circling around an invitation. Maybe. It was hard to tell.

"Do they sing?" Tony asked, smirking now. It sounded very Disney if you asked him.

Tyler smirked back. "I think if you asked Pevensie that he'd throw something at you," he warned. "But they might, sure. I've never been. I'm just hoping I'm not the only guest over 18."

"You could always bring a date," Tony reminded him, not really paying much attention to his words as something to be tweaked in the suit caught his attention.

"Except I'm not seeing anybody," Tyler reminded him, leaving the unlike you unspoken. He wasn't going to get weird and jealous again.

"Wanna come?" he asked, tone almost teasing.

"Why... are you asking me on a date, Mr. Durden?" Tony asked. Because he could tease right back.

Tyler had to bite his lips to hide a smile. "A weekend in an exotic land, even. And it comes complete with bridesmaids."

"I think I might be able to handle that..."

"Then you're my favorite person," Tyler told him, happier than he wanted to admit despite the edge of sarcasm in his voice. "I was going to leave after my class Friday -- will that work for you?"

"I'm going to assume we won't need a jet," Tony said, putting down the tools he'd been using.

Tyler waved a hand vaguely. "I think it's one of those portal deals, or something like that, anyhow. The bride's a witch." He paused, realizing what he had just said. "Powers-wise, I mean. She's fine as a person. Doesn't like me much, though."

"Another bad influence?" Tony asked.

Tyler shook his head. "I blew up a computer near her in 10th grade. She -- Willow -- was not a fan. The girl likes her IT."

"You blew up a computer?" Tony was also a bit on the horrified side. "Why?"

"I was testing something," Tyler said, defensive. "It made sense at the time."

He couldn't really remember.

That poor computer.

Tony just gave him another look and idly went pat his laptop. "As long as you didn't make a habit of it..."

"I got over the random destruction a while ago," Tyler promised, hedging just a little. He'd destroyed more than his share of consumer electronics. "And I'm not exactly proud of myself. I just can't change the past."
