Dor had arrived early for training with Sarah and had managed to get the store open without too much bungling.
Right now he was going back in forth between a conversation with the register about how it was supposed to work and a Y-Factor comic book who kept complaining loudly about how bad the art was inside its cover.

"Why?" the stapler countered. "Don't you know?"
"Just tell her," Dor snapped.
"Fine. He went around the room talking to various objects trying to figure out what they were and what they were for but completely ignored me."
"That's because I know what a stapler is," Dor said rolling his eyes.
"Well I didn't know that," The stapler said, sounding a little miffed.
Dor sighed and shrugged a little to Sarah. "Sometimes the inanimate can be a bit touchy."

"Okay. Well!" she said, clearing her throat loudly. "I think I was going to train you, wasn't I?"
