Teddy who was not late, unlike the mun was at work and admiring the newest exhibit. It was very... Yeah. An artist he was not.

Although one kinda looked like Ratgirl if you squinted.

Charlotte took a moment or two out of her oh-so-busy, really! schedule to check up on a few things in the gallery, and she figured it might be a good time to check up on how Teddy was doing. She usually didn't, because she knew his boyfriend liked to stop by and keep him company, which she didn't mind unless they were busy, which they never really were.

"Hello, Teddy!"

Teddy turned and grinned at her. "Hi, Miss York!"

"How's it going?" Charlotte asked, smiling back, and really hoping it didn't turn into when she checked on Kevin and inadvertently supported teenage promiscuity. "What do you think of the new exhibit?"

"It's..." He was bad at this. "Moving?"

Charlotte blinked for a moment and then, as a good sign that maybe she'd been on this island too long, didn't say anything, she just suddenly bolted as fast as she could in her Monolos toward the gallery, fully expecting to see the pieces moving around through the room.

Once she saw that the pieces were still, in fact, very stationary, she realized what he'd meant. Her palm met her forehead. "Moving," she said. "Right. I couldn't agree more."

Now Teddy was just confused as to what he said wrong there. "Are you okay?"

"Oh! I'm fine!" Charlotte waved a dismissive hand, catching her breath and pushing back her hair. "I just...you know...when you said moving, I thought...you know...I mean, everything in my kitchen lately seems to be moving around a little bit, so I thought if the pieces were moving, too...literally...Fandom thing..."

She blinked at Teddy.

"Oh, never mind."

"No, I'd definitely mention it with more shock if that was the case," Teddy assured her. He paused for a moment, thinking something over. "Hey, um, would you happen to know any photographers who can do work for... uh... not too much?"

"Well, you've been here for a while, and you're from space, you might be...I don't know, immune by now," Charlotte shrugged, then sighed slightly, trying to sigh away her embarrassment and focus instead on what else Teddy said because that she could deal with much better.

"I, um, actually just met a new photographer in town just the other day," she remarked. "Why do you ask?"

"Well, Kappa Kappa Gremlin was thinking of doing, like, a calender for next year. To raise money for the club."

"A calender?"

No, bad Charlotte! No thinking of the high school boys in a sexy calender! No! You are not Samantha!

"Yeah!" Teddy grinned and nodded.

"Huh."

Maybe she'd just have to buy one for Samantha. She's appreciate it, although Charlotte wasn't sure she could think on it too much.

"Well, maybe you should talk to Ben, then. He mentioned it as a hobby, but if you're looking for someone...he said he owns one of the new shops on the island, a thrift store, I think."

It was Wednesday, so, of course, Chad was there, with enough food to feed an army...or two strapping young teenage boys.

"Final four," he stated, as if Teddy needed reminded, setting up the laptop. He was very excited, but only Teddy knew him well enough to tell.

Teddy just shook his head and laughed. "Who are you betting on?"

"On staying?" Chad asked, handing Teddy a tray of sushi as he settled back into his chair. "Or going?"

"Going," Teddy replied, nodding firmly as he looked over the sushi.

"The doofy blonde one," Chad decided with a firm nod. "She needs to gee-tee-eff-oh."

Yes. Chad just said GTFO. Shhh.

"..." Teddy stared for a moment before cracking up. "You're never allowed to call me a dork again."

"Yes, I am. You read comics. Until you stop reading comics, I can call you a dork."

"Technically," Chad said, "it's an acronym, not a word."

"No more internet acronyms," Chad promised, sealing it with a kiss on Teddy's cheek. "Sorry."
