Pizza Planet, Friday

All was quiet, dark, and peaceful in the refrigerator as it usually was when the door was closed. Just the nice cold temperature, the reassuring hum of the fridge, and the dark. It was, if you were a lump of mozzarella cheese, paradise.

The only problem with a dark fridge paradise when you were a lump of cheese, though, was the inability to hear such tiny but ominous warning sounds like the click of the tumblers as a key was turned in the front door lock, or the sudden buzzing chorus of the fluorescent lights overhead.

And so the cheese continued to relax -- chillax, even, as it was a fridge -- in blissful ignorance until the fridge door opened and a hand snuck around to seize it.

Being a lump of cheese, though, it didn't suffer throughout the ensuing ordeal of being grated into tiny shreds, scattered on top of a pizza, covered with chopped vegetables and meat, and put into a red-hot oven to melt. Right to the end, it was actually kind of good to be a lump of cheese.

And now that there was something to offer the customers, Pizza Planet was open, and Jen would be in after third period.

[OOC: OCD-freeeeeeeeee.]
