"No, we need both kinds of cranberry sauce. Because Daman and Galen will fight, is why. And yes, I do need all of that cheese, do you hear yourself talking? I always need all of that cheese."

Running Thanksgiving from the opposite coast was stressful, it turned out. Maybe next year he made his whole family come to him.

It was still a no on fake spiderwebs, though. Seriously, they were dangerous for wildlife. And squirrels. Never mind that the staff all seemed like they really wanted to tell Raiden something when he reminded them the squirrels might get caught in the webs.

After having it pointed out to him that that would mean running the restaurant solo, Raiden decided they were allowed to stay if they never spoke of this abomination again.

When Raiden arrived at Pizza Planet on Monday morning, the only person there before him was mixing up the dough and he went straight back to his office, so he didn't notice anything out of the ordinary at first. He didn't even notice that he smelled like pizza, because everything smelled like pizza.

It was only when he emerged from his paperwork haze, and his office, to discuss the specials with the rest of the staff that he noticed.

"Huh," he said after a moment, and then sniffed his arm. Yep. He sure did smell like pizza. "I...have to go. Away. I have to go away." Before he took a bite out of somebody. Possibly himself. Maybe if he got off the island?

"But what about the specials?" Tito called after him as he headed for the door.

"Do whatever you want!" Raiden called over his shoulder as he texted Gray and Arden to please let him know when it was safe to come back. Hopefully before tomorrow. He had a party to throw.

After he finished writing up the specials board for today, he needed to call the printer about fliers announcing the grand opening. Wow, who knew this was so much work when you weren't just stepping into an already running business? Crazy!

As soon as Lydia had realized what the island had done this time, she had called Pizza Planet to ask if they needed to reschedule the Supper Club, but Mr. Raiden had assured her they could still be accommodated, and she was choosing to take him at his word. She supposed some menu items might not be available, but she was terribly grateful to not have to shift for herself without so much as a dull butter knife.

"Oh!" she exclaimed as she remembered something. "While we are all assembled, I would like to hear your thoughts on the continuation of the Supper Club. There are still a few dining establishments left on the island we have not tried yet, but then we must decide how to move forward. I have had both moving over to the mainland to expand our options and beginning the rotation of the island's eateries anew proposed to me, and I would quite like to know if there is a consensus on how best to proceed. What does everyone think?"

Raiden was honestly pretty down this Monday morning. His brothers had gone home, with Bellamy still a little further on the other side of Lust than anyone liked for him to stay for too long. Alastair had sent word ahead to Castor to please find them a nest of demons somewhere they could throw him at until he worked the bloodlust off, so hopefully he was okay by now, but Raiden was still worried about Arden. It sounded like whatever had happened there had been pretty bad.

He was handling this, of course, by stress eating, but people still needed pizzas, so here he was!

This week at Pizza Planet, Raiden was on the phone. "But I thought you were gonna--uh-huh. No, yeah, that's--we can totally make that work." A beat. "Galen's not coming, right? Okay, good. Because I love Galen, but--yeah. Yeah. Okay, yeah, I'll let him know."

After he hung up, he stared into the middle distance for a long moment. Daman had been bound to get jealous that most of his brothers had been to visit and he hadn't yet eventually, but...Daman coming to socialize? That was sure a thing.

Raiden had made breakfast cake for his crew this morning, and it had put him in a general 'breakfast' kind of mood that was reflected on the day's specials board.

Five minutes later: "I guess I could make breakfast cake at home and bring it in..." But would it survive the walk? Unclear. Maybe if he made two cakes?
