Luke's Diner, April 28 (Monday)

See, had Lacey been back home in Canada and faced with a sudden influx of kids in town, she would have ordered in a bunch of Kinder Surprise, but apparently there was a whole issue with tiny toys in candy in the United States.
Not that this sort of thing, the child invasion, happened in Dog River, or in Toronto for that matter. Probably a good thing, although she couldn't help wishing Davis got subjected to a sudden horde of small children.
What? It would be funny.
She did, however, have a stack of construction paper and boxes of crayons at the counter today; she hadn't had enough advance notice to order coloring placemats.
Lacey just really hoped nobody came in with balloons. She was terrified of balloons.
Luke's is open, though balloon free . . . at least for the moment.
[OOC: I'd just like to blame
bridge_carson for my own unfulfilled addiction to Kinder Surprise.]
