Groovy Tunes, Wednesday

With Breq having worked Saturday and Jono still faintly on the anxious side, he was actually kind of happy to have an excuse to come into the music shop today. There was even a shipment of new CDs, which meant he'd have plenty to do between potential scavenger hunters.

Jono certainly couldn't complain about that.

Some days were 'feed the ducks' days.

Not for any particular reason, really. Sometimes Jono was feeling a bit down, sometimes he just wanted to get out of the house and stretch his legs. Today's reason wasn't either of those things. He already was stretching his legs, enjoying an afternoon jog, when on his way along the path by the pond he realized it had been a while since he'd just sort of taken a seat on the bench and enjoyed the quiet that the park had to offer.

Well, the relative quiet, anyway. Ducks squabbling with one another for a piece of bread were hardly silent.

Either way, he'd made a quick detour, stopped by T&C for a small loaf of bread, and then made his way back to the park to do just that. The ducks didn't seem to care either way about the man on fire, at least. They were far more interested in the food he was tossing their way.

[OOC: Just wanted a little fluff today. The park is open!]

Groovy Tunes, Sunday

Jono wasn't sulking today while he opened up the Groovy Tunes, and anybody who told you that he was? Was lying. Definitely lying. He also most certainly hadn't attempted to pick up one of the new guitars to play, only to remember in the worst way possible that he had three injured fingertips, and he hadn't spent a good twenty minutes cussing out life, the universe, and everything before settling down behind the counter and instead cranking up the Pearl Jam very loudly.

If you thought any of these things had happened, clearly you were fooling yourself.

There was, however, a help wanted sign in the window. You were more than welcome to pay attention to that, instead of the leather-clad telepath with the bandaged hand who was absolutely not sulking behind the counter, today.

It had seemed like a good day to be out in the park, especially since Rosalind had thought ahead (of course she had) and brought a coffee with her.

She'd always been appreciative of the sheer amount of greenery the island could produce. There were green places on Gaia, of course, but Midgar was… not one of them.

Being Rosalind, she had another reason to be out and about. A few days ago a bracer had appeared in her apartment. It didn't belong to her, and close inspection of it had made her think it was magical, though she couldn't tell what it was for.

(Though experimentation had proven that it did nothing for her.)

So, today, she was seated on a park bench, sipping her coffee, and conspicuously inspecting the bracer in public. If it belonged to someone, they might come across her.

If not, the squirrels would report that she'd been in the park with it, and Rosalind would see what turned up from that.

Multi-tasking.
