Gunn's typical routine wasn't to hit the same spot two nights in a row but with certain objects turning human, Gunn was hitting all the typical mystical hotspots (that he knew of) on the island.

After all if objects were becoming human (even if they were friendly) some bad mojo might be behind that. Which meant someone had to be on the lookout.

So yes, Gunn. Graveyard. Saturday.

And as usual: finding nothing stranger than usual.

For once, Gunn was doing legal research at his job.

On Miranda rights.

It was totally work related. Really.

Dead people mysteriously showing up in Fandom?

Oh, yeah. Gunn was patrolling and being extra cautious as a result. Oh, sure, radio made it sound like a happy family reunion for most people but Gunn was definitely not taking the whole thing lightly.

So tonight the hubcap-battleaxe was making an appearance in the graveyard and Gunn was taking his time with the patrol.

Just in case there were some not-so-happy dead people lurking about.
[identity profile] bigbadgunn.livejournal.com
Yep. Another week has rolled by and once again Gunn is back in the graveyard doing his weekly patrol among the gravestones.

And even though nothing has changed in the last umpteen weeks on patrol, he still checks every damn grave for any signs of disturbances or changes that might have occurred from the week before. Of course there were no changes and there probably wouldn't be but that wasn't going to stop Gunn from doing the same damn thing as before.

Why? Hey, it's all about the mission.

[Open for the next hour or two and then SP until late tonight.]
[identity profile] bigbadgunn.livejournal.com
Monday found Gunn back at work and while there was probably plenty of paid work to be done, Gunn was busy putting some of the finishing touches on his diorama from Home Ec.

Which included various traps for a certain type of undead.

Well, Aquaman didn't say it had to be a "happy" diorama.
[identity profile] bigbadgunn.livejournal.com
Yep. Another night, another patrol through the graveyard.

This time however he wasn't calling out for vampires to use him as a snack. Nope. That was straight out.

Instead he was being quiet and careful like one should be when hunting for non-existent evil creatures in Fandom.

Hey, one of these days the island is going to get attacked and Gunn's going to be able to say he's been patrolling all along. Until then...

Very quiet patrolling.

[Open though SP until later this evening]
[identity profile] bigbadgunn.livejournal.com
The job took an odd turn for Gunn today. Not because some demon creature had ransacked the building and tried to attack him as he came into the office... No. Gunn would actually be able to handle that.

No, today Gunn got a modded note from Alex asking him to research annulment criteria for the state of Virginia. After spending two minutes staring at all the damn books that he thought he'd have to go through to find this information, he turned to his friend "Google" to figure out the basics.

Gosh, it was almost like he was working.

Gunn was on patrol again.

"Yo? Vampires? Any of you guys about?"

Though it was a bit different this time around.

"I'm O positive! Got plenty here if you're hungry!"

Yeah. Very different.

[IDK. Open.]
[identity profile] bigbadgunn.livejournal.com
Once again it was Friday night and Gunn was out on patrol making sure that the dead stayed dead.

Sure there hadn't been a vampire invasion or any zombies attacking but you know the one time he skipped doing a patrol the whole damn island would get eaten.

Not a likely scenario, but that was Gunn's justification for doing yet another jaunt through the graveyard.

[Open for any late night interaction or weekend SP goodness.]
[identity profile] bigbadgunn.livejournal.com
Gunn usually wasn't in the mood for Chinese food.

Today's reserve meeting changed that.

"Yeah. I'll take two orders of the Peking Duck."

Yeah. It was that kind of day.

[Sure. Open. Why not?]
[identity profile] bigbadgunn.livejournal.com
You'd think Gunn would have better things to do on a Friday night than go on patrol.

But after his trip back home... well let's just say he's trying to get himself back on the "mission."

Just don't ask him what that mission is. He's not sure of that yet.

[Open for any late nighters. Or SP'ers.]
[identity profile] bigbadgunn.livejournal.com
Filing done. General Office stuff... kind of done.

Sort of dozing off at his desk?

Yep. That was Gunn. This lawyer thing was so not his speed but he got paid and he was always sure to get legal representation if he needed it.

It was the books. They just made him a bit sleepy.
[identity profile] iruinenglish.livejournal.com
Buffy was in town tonight. This meant Buffy was on patrol, wandering the streets armed in case there were any demons that needed vanquishing- or, stabbing, since she didn't really vanquish without help from the booky types- or people that needed saving. Okay, so the apocalypse hadn't happened (again) at graduation, and it had all been really funny because it hadn't happened to her, but you never knew what might happen overnight, right? Right?

Yeah, she knew if there were any vampires they'd probably be the good kind you couldn't kill, and it'd be a quiet night where nothing happened, but still. She was in town till morning, she might as well.

[Open to all! I'm still trying to talk myself out of renewing userpics just for one day.]

Gunn felt pretty smug that he was able to get away from any child responsibilities this weekend. It allowed him a chance to sit back and chuckle at all the shell shocked people walking around with kiddies from alternate universes.

It might be the reason why he's sitting outside the law office with a bin of candy. Along with that is a large sign that says: "Free Candy for Kids!"

There's also a pile of waivers for the kids to sign releasing Gunn from any responsiblity concerning hyperactivity, tooth decay and about anything else imaginable under the sun.

Maybe this legal/lawyer thing was wearing off on him.

As the night went on, an assortment of prom favours were replacing the masks on the table just inside the tent. Everyone was free to take a picture frame and disposable camera to record their own Prom memories. Also were shot glasses with the Fandom High gremlin on them. Such things happened when Dean Stinson was the Student Council advisor.

The punch was thoroughly spiked by now, but the dessert table had been refilled o soaking up all that alcohol was a definite possibility. The music would still be playing for a few hours for all to get in as much dancing and time to be with their friends as they wanted.

And in just a moment, Dean Stinson was going to announce the Prom Court.

[OOC: How much do we rock that LJ was down all day and we STILL needed a second post? SO MUCH. Again, Prom is open for SP and also getting LJ to load should not be such a rush. Please wait for the OCD is up and good to go!]

Gunn was back to his normal human form. So instead of taking a nap in a sunbeam he was hard at work trying to beat his high score in Minesweeper.

Clearly it was hard work. Very hard.
[identity profile] bigbadgunn.livejournal.com
Honestly, being a jaguar was probably the best excuse in the world not to come into work today.

However there was a really nice window that had a sunbeam coming through it. And Gunn was taking advantage of it. Granted, he may not get paid for taking a nap but it was worth a shot.

Plus? Sun. Beam. Mmmmm.

So, okay, the thing about being who she was and doing what she was meant that not only was Jaina out again tonight, but if there were emails saying to avoid the park... guess where she was. After those guys, of course. Look, she was raised this way. If there were warnings, that meant maybe there was something going on and she should be there, wandering around and listening for trouble.

At least she had a mask on today?

[I wanna monster.]

Once again Gunn was at his place of employment, and like always, he had no idea what he was doing.

Law books? No interest. Files on NPC clients in town? Boring. Getting a law degree? No interest.

But the job paid and Charles had just beat his all time high score on minesweeper.

Oh, yeah. Employee of the month right here, people.
[identity profile] bigbadgunn.livejournal.com
It hadn't taken long yesterday to figure out something nutty was going on in Fandom.

Okay... nuttier than usual in Fandom.

Gunn had at least done enough research in Fandom to know that there was such an occasion where people had turned into alternate versions of themselves and that these alternate selves occasionally caused problems.

Which is why Gunn was patrolling in the graveyard with his usual equipment.

Just in case.

[Just in case any of you AU Vamp types want to come out and play...]
[identity profile] bigbadgunn.livejournal.com
Gunn wasn't exactly sure what he should be doing in a Law Firm. All he knew is that he wasn't giving up wearing a hoodie for a suit to work in this place.

So after opening a law book for about ten seconds and quickly learning it was a good cure for insomnia, Gunn decided to spend the rest of his non-working time improving his minesweeper skills.

Thus starts his illustrious law career.

[There is no OCD because only the MAN wants us to use the OCD. Open.]

Gibbs glared at Ralph with a look he usually reserved for DiNozzo when he truly screwed something up.

"You want me to interrogate a guy for stealing a hostess snack cake?"

Ralph nodded. He was very proud.

Are you kidding? )

After it was all said and done, Gibbs walked over to Ralph and smacked the back of his helmet.

And even though Ralph was helmeted? He still felt the slap.

It was a damn good headslap.

[Preplayed with the awesome [livejournal.com profile] glasses_justice. Partially coded by her too! Open station is open after Alex and Gunn leave.]

It was late in the afternoon when Charles Gunn arrived at the Lobster Hut.

One might wonder why a former street gang member was standing in front of the Lobster tank with a forlorn look on his face.

However if you were a gremlin bitten Charles Gunn who went to Modeling for Dummies class...

You might have an inkling of why he was there.

"Oh, Andre..."

[Establishy for "Tim" Gunn. Though open for those who really feel the need for fresh lobster and delicious cheddar biscuits.]

Jaina had had a pretty good time at the carnival, and then getting word about a certain lawbreaker that home that she'd been tracking for a month had put her in a good mood. She beat down the urge to call out of work and go back to her room to prep for her trip home next week now, but she was good and came in.

She'd just occasionally head to the lounge to make calls, though. She was still a workaholic, not having a constant job hadn't done much to change her habits.

It was as good a time as any to check on the horses. Arthur had just made his rounds in that regard, patting his own on the neck and checking them over for any signs of discomfort or trouble when he'd heard the noise.

It was Fandom. Unexpected noise was rarely a good thing. Especially while it was still dark out.

With a frown on his face, he'd ventured on out with his sword drawn, down to the gates.

Now he was there. And he was well aware of where the noise was coming from. Had, in fact, already texted as many as he could with a warning (and a mention of his position to Merlin) before the creatures had taken his phone.

Slicing through gremlin guts to get his Blackberry back was not how Arthur had expected the morning would go. Especially not at this hour.

[[ ooopen. ...and let's just say it's still darkish out here, shall we? i totally know my gremlin canon. yes. ]]
