Jack, bags slung over his shoulder and the plant held safely in one arm, made his way to Selkie Cove.

He dropped the bags but hung onto the plant as he checked the time. It wouldn’t be long now. With a deep breath, he looked over his shoulder, back towards the school, and then grinned. "See you, Fandom."

With those words, there was a flash of blue light, and he was gone.

[And Jack is gone, for good this time. Establishy only, but OOC totally welcome. Thank you everyone so much. You made playing Jack an utter blast.]

Jack stood on the rocks overlooking Selkie Cove, watching the ocean.

Umbridge had been dealt with, which meant Cedric was safe and his last excuse for not leaving was gone. He'd already stayed longer than he'd meant to.

Tapping a series of commands into the vortex manipulator strapped to his wrist, he glanced up at the sky, trying to visualise the satellite his signal was currently bouncing off of. Jason would be watching for it, and the beauty of time travel was that he shouldn't have to wait long for an ans--

A series of beeps interrupted his thoughts. "And there it is," he muttered, scrolling through the readout. 31:08:2007:05:00 followed by a set of coordinates.

Four days. Mouth tightening, he took one last look at the ocean, then turned away, heading back to the dorms.

Well. Thus far, this island didn't seem like much, at least not to the small pixie who was taking inventory of it as she zipped along.

Tinker Bell - for that was her name - was making a grand tour of the park. And huffing to herself as she sailed along, because there are certain things that should be true in life. One of which was, if you drank poison for an idiotic man-boy, that he didn't pick the plain-faced English bint over you, who had put up with all of his stupid nonsense for years.

At least this island wasn't Neverland, Tink thought, as she began imagining increasingly creative ways to off one Wendy Darling, late of London, UK.

That would be why she didn't notice it when she flew straight into a tree.

The park had been transformed into something looking a little like a circus. Tents were set up all over with things inside each of them for people to see, and there were booths outside for people to get food. Because you can't have a circus without food. Every once in a while there would be a roar from inside a tent or a sound like whatever sound an elephant would make, and random clowns were wandering around to greet unsuspecting passersby.

However, this wasn't any ordinary circus, as rickshaws and golf carts carried spangly-dressed people (who might have looked a little familiar) over to the tents. If they passed by you, you might have heard someone or another on the phone demanding to speak to their agent.

That might be because hanging from the main tent over the entrance is a large banner that reads WELCOME TO THE CIRCUS OF THE moderately well-known STARS!!!

Phoebe had been trying to hide from the random soundtracks popping up all day. It wasn't going so well.

So taunt me and hurt me,
Deceive me, desert me,
I'm yours 'til I die,
So in love,
So in love,
So in love with you, my love, am I.

"Couldn't you have followed me around with a better damn song?" she demanded angrily.

So taunt me and hurt me,
Deceive me, desert me,
I'm yours 'til I die,
So in love,
So in love,
So in love with you, my love, am I.

She got the zombies put together and unlocked the doors. Once behind the the bar she looked at Tino.

"Quarters?"
"Can we pretend we're using quarters and just drink?"
"Good plan."

It was going to be an interesting night for the patrons of Caritas if this was how the two of them were starting out the shift.

Jack was grinning as he sauntered into Fast Eddie's. He was a bit early for his date with Jo, but he figured killing time wouldn't be a problem. He took over a pool table and racked the balls, picking over cues until he found one he was happy with, well able to amuse himself shooting pool until Jo arrived.

He really wasn't very good at it. Honest. That he sunk four solids on the break was just a fluke.

[ooc: Jack's here to meet Jo (with parental permission omg!), but open for all your Fast Edddie's needs.]

When Ellen got to the bar, Tino and the zombies were removing the last pieces of wood from what looked like some sort of construction project.

She wasn't sure she wanted to know, so she let them continue to un-tier the stage and went to unlock the front doors.

[OOC: I'm around and Tino's available for your modding, if needed.]

When GOB walked into the bar tonight, he was surprised to find a second level to the stage. Tino and the zombies both looked like they hadn't rested all day, presumably because they were so busy building the structure. "That looks stupid," GOB said. "Take it down."

It wouldn't happen until tomorrow morning, though. They were too tired from making the stage two tiered.

[OOC: I'm around. The horrible pun goes out to [livejournal.com profile] time_agent.]

The walk from dorms to cove had been quiet.

Jack was curiously reluctant to talk, and as they reached the cove, he set his packs down on the ground and gazed out over the ocean.

Not long now. "We're here."

[ooc: locked to Sam and Cedric, please. ETA: And Jack's gone from Fandom. *sniffles* I had a wonderful time while he was here, and thank you everyone who made him so much damn fun to play!]

Selkie Cove, lunchtime

After a trip through town that included stops at the post office and picking up lunch, Isabel finally arrived at Selkie Cove. She spread a blanket out and then took a seat, staring out over the water as she waited for Jack to arrive.

[ooc: Isabel's here for [livejournal.com profile] time_agent and their thread is locked to them. Otherwise open for all your cove needs.]

No matter what the weather was on the mainland, the weather over the Fandom had warmed up to a beautiful spring evening, just perfect for a night of dancing.

A large tent had been set up in the park and it glowed with the soft light of what seemed like a million small white lights. The path leading up to the tent crossed a small bridge and then split, one walkway leading up to the tent, the other leading to the pond where a small dock had been set up. Two gondolas were waiting to take anyone who wished to go on a ride around the pond.

Inside the tent, numerous colorful backdrops made it seem like the students had been transported to Saint Mark's Square. The only thing missing were the pigeons.

Off to one side stood a table with a box for the final votes for the Prom Court.

It was time for Prom 2007.

[OOC: Up early for Slow-play. Please wait for the extensive OCD. Have at it!]

Lana opened the store on time somehow after having spent the better part of the last three nights awake. She tried to keep moving around in an effort to keep herself awake, but she certainly wasn't at her best today.

Logan's house hasn't managed to aquire much clutter in the few days he's been living there, but there is half of a surfboard on the back deck. (It looks as though something bit it in half, and Logan himself has a bit of a limp, but he's not volunteering any explanations.)

The house is stocked and ready to go. The tiki torches have all been lit. Condoms are discreetly stashed in drawers all over the house, the liquor cabinet has been unlocked (though the really good stuff is hidden in Logan's room), and the kitchen has been filled with food and drink mixables.

The only room locked up is the utility room - one of the roommates has an important project stashed in there.

Logan's heated up the grill, taste-tested some of the alcohol, and now he's in the living room playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Veronica, Angela & Rory enter the restaurant and spy a large corner booth in the back.

"This looks good - that way Vala can join us when she's done with her homework and we'll have room for anyone else that wants to stop by."

[OOC: if anyone can think of a good name of a restaurant or character to run it, jump in!]
