The Perk - Tuesday Morning

Prue didn't have class until Thursday so there was no reason for her to be up this early. But here she was at The Perk getting her daily dose of caffeine. She grabbed a newspaper and took a seat near the window. She looked like she could be bothered though.

Buffy needed ice coffee now. She waved to Prue as she entered, then bought her coffee and a donut and went to sit down near the window, for maximal people watching.

Prue smiled and waved back. "Hey Buffy. How are you?"

"Pretty good," Buffy smiled back. "What about you? Hey, would you be interested in something like a cheer camp? Only not really, 'cause it would just be here at the school, but, like, intensely cheery?"

"Oh, I'm totally interested." she said. "The cheerier the better; that's what I say."

"I like the sound of that." Buffy had a sip of her ice coffee. "I want to check with the all cheerleaders - or at least a lot - before I ask the principal and Aly."

"I'm looking for a little more activity." she said. "At home I was kind of used to being attacked every week. Being attacked wasn't fun, but it did keep you in shape."

Buffy giggled. "You should team up with Mel. Maybe you can attack each other on alternate weeks or something?"

Prue laughed. "It's good to know someone else is frustrated by the lack of evildoers here."

"I kind of like it," Buffy admitted. She frowned a little. "But I think it's made ME get a little out of slaying shape."
