Jaina got to the bar on time, set up, and proceeded to pour herself a Coke while she waited for people to show up.

"What?" she asked when she caught one of the zombies watching her. "No one said I couldn't."

His suit miraculously still clean after work (although he did go home to take a shower and spruce up a bit), A.J. straightened his tie, checked his spy camera, and leaned against the bar, trying his best to look his damnest and scope out a possible victim target.

"Hey," Jaina greeted him, pushing her own drink aside. "What can I get you?"

Oh, man. Female bartender totally counted. A.J. beamed a little at the prospect of getting this over quickly. Looks like his plans crashing last night worked to his advantage, because she wouldn't have been working yesterday, and he would have missed this chance.

And then he remembered what he was supposed to be doing, dropped the dorky grin for what he thought was a more...suave expression as he gave Jaina a smile and leaned on the bar a little. Don't be too cheesy, A.J. You can do this. Thankfully, she'd set him up nicely. He shifted to make sure the camera got this gem.

"Well," he said, thinking smooth, thinking suave, "we could start with your name."

Not bad, A.J.! Not bad at all!

A.J., while grinning back and straightening his tie in an effort to keep up the facade, drew in a breath. Camera? Check. Here goes nothing. Just get tonight over with, and he'd never have to act like such a tool again in his whole life if he could help it. Now if only he could bring himself to actually use one of the lines...

"Hey, there, gorgeous," he lifted his chin; his lips did a petulant little duck-thing that happened when he tried to make himself look cool. "Think this suit looks good on me? Bet it would look even better on your floor."

Oh, God, A.J., why the hell did you actually let that leave your mouth? He was going to be hiding in his room this weekend. Hiding forever, maybe...

Maybe she would notice the worry in his face as he thought, Oh, please, God, don't let her punch me or slap me or kick me in the balls or something...

If Jaina hadn't made Prue such a strong drink she probably would have threw A.J threw a wall. As it was Prue just stared at him in amazement.

Prue came into Caritas and sat down at the bar. Whatever music the zombies had in mind to play had to be better than the sounds that annoying bird D had given her to take care of for class had been making.

"Hmmm, a rum and coke." she says. She wasn't really in the mood for anything fancy with plastic swords and umbrellas.

"Got it," she said, and put the drink together, sliding it across the bar to Prue. "If there's more rum in there than there should be... well, you're welcome."

"Ahoy, wench!" Barbossa said, lumbering up to a barstool. "I'll be havin' rum tonight. A bottle o' it."

Prue whirled around in her chair when she heard Barbossa. He sounded just like the guy who she made cry over the phone in Lyman's class.
