Junk Yard: Tuesday Morning

Worf was not a fan of the cold but he wanted to make sure his shuttle was properly prepared for the winter conditions in Fandom. Or any other bizarre weather conditions that might just pop out of no where.

Either way he was out side his shuttle running scans with his tricorder to make sure the nacelles were properly insulated and that there was nothing in the junk yard that would interact badly with the hull.

Because in Fandom who knows what kind of evil metal eating creature might be lurking here.

[Open for... um. Unlikely people who like to hang out in the junkyard right before an LJ blackout.]

Juno arrived to continue work on the Rogue Shadow, almost surprised to see someone else here working. Still not comfortable with this place at all, she was wary of trying to strike up a conversation, but it couldn't hurt to find out a little more about this place. "Problems?" she asked.

She jerked her thumb towards her ship. You know, the one on the battered side. "That one's mine," she explained. "I took some damage, now I'm trying to get its systems back up and running."

"Juno," she introduced herself. "Got any experience with this sort of ship?" She didn't think he would, but just in case, she wasn't about to start spouting off about it being an Imperial craft. One had to have a healthy sense of paranoia these days.

"Thanks," she said, "but unfortunately, it's a little more than basic." As in, everyone who built it had died horribly. Oops. "...Where are you from?"

"Been here a couple days," Juno nodded. "I'm still trying to figure out exactly where I am in relation to the rest of the galaxy. No one seems to know." This, yes, was worrying.

"People end up here from all over, I know that. It was phrased maybe more colorfully than that," she admitted. Thanks, Loki.

Juno didn't like the possibilities much when they sunk in. "Different dimensions? You mean parallel?"

She was refusing to jump to conclusions. Chances were, she'd just dropped out of hyperspace early due to whatever caused the dimensional weirdness here, and that's why this place wasn't on her charts. Getting worked up over the possibility of ending up in the wrong dimension wouldn't do her any good.

Still... "If you'll excuse me, I think I really need to get my systems working," she said.

"Thanks. For the info, too," Juno said, and hurried back to the ship, determined to get comms working today.
