Adam had been craving a chocolate milkshake since he'd woken up. He didn't know why, it just kind of happened.

That would be why Adam made his way to Luke's Diner and up to the counter. "Hey Johnny."

"Yo, Adam, how's it going?"

"Can't really complain," Adam shrugged. "How about you?"

"I was late to work," he grinned. "But can't complain either. What can I get you?"

Adam chuckled. "Hey, you're allowed to be ever now and then," he grinned. "I was looking to get a chocolate milkshake actually. Don't know why, but I've been craving one all day."

"That's what I'm thinking," he nodded. "Chocolate milkshakes are awesome, Adam. Coming right up." Johnny spent the next few moments making one and then handed it over with a napkin and a long handled spoon. "Anything to go with it?"

Savannah watched from the door for a moment trying not to giggle.

Then she came closer and put his coffee on the counter.

"Hey wench," he said, smiling. "Am I amusing you?"

She gave him an impish grin. "Oh very much so."

"Is it my hotness?" he asked, winking at her.

[*sigh* I have to disappear again for a short while. Will be back as soon as I can.]

Her eyes were full of laughter, but her look turned to a serious one. "I love you for more than your hotness, Johnny Storm."

He grinned at her and leaned over the counter to kiss her sweet mouth. "You're totally biased."

She smiled against his lips as she kissed him. "I'm totally sincere."

"I do know this, actually," he said, tapping her on the nose when he pulled back. "You love me like pie."

"More than the chocolate creme kind, even."

"Oooh," he waggled his brows, "that's saying a lot, babe."

She wiggled her nose at him. "It really is. I am known for loving the chocolate creme a lot."

She laughed and leaned in to touch her nose to his. "I love you."

"So, here's a question. Do you think the owner would be willing to make a deal with the squad so we could purchase a bunch of prepared food for Thanksgiving?"
