Thursday morning brought Cable a positively philosophical mood. It made him sit down and write to Irene for the first time in several weeks. The process had a habit of lasting days, though, as he put things into greater perspective along the way.

Still, he hadn't failed to put the Open sign on the door, the store was well-lit, and Tether laid prone but alert by the door.

Ino, having woken up in a foul mood for no reason whatsoever, slipped into the meditation room not long after the shop was open and settled in to try and meditate her mood away.
