Strokes of Genius, Thursday
Despite the valiant efforts of yesterday's chicken soup in trying to fend off the cold, Katchoo had a massive case of the runny-nosed sniffles today, which made her even more cranky than usual.
She was not, however, considering making a used-tissue sculpture, even though she already had the materials to make one. Ew. Instead, she chose to channel her annoyance at the situation into a series of sketches of body parts -- yes, body parts, running, swimming, and otherwise engaged in physical activity.
Yes, even that. Ahem.

"Never fear, brave rescuer! I'll save you so you can save me!" Setting the poster tube down on the windowsill, she reached for a couple of the boxes atop the stack. "So . . . who's saving who exactly, again?"

A knitted one with a fluffy bobble on top, clearly the work of one Marie Peters, but it wasn't like Francine didn't have about fifteen of them.
"And cookies."
