The exhibit was still up and Teddy was looking them all over and wondering if maybe that Ben guy could take pictures as nice as these.

ANTM was over, sure, and a great big fat disappointment, but that didn't mean that bringing Teddy dinner at the gallery on Wednesdays had to stop. The order was a little diminished today, a few less bags, because they wouldn't want to overstuff themselves when there was Thanksgiving tomorrow.

Because it totally worked like that.

There was so much to eat tomorrow!

"Hey! No cats today?"

"Nah," Chad waved a hand, moving over to put the food on the counter. "They're still tired from yesterday. Music club, and playing with Nana and everything. So they've been sleeping all day."

So it was a good thing that they'd been sleeping in Chad's room instead of Teddy's, because, if they had been in Teddy's, he'd come back to find comic books everywhere from them running around all evening.

It was probably a good thing then. "I hope Galliano didn't try to attack Nana too much."

"I don't think Nana noticed."

"...true. I think she might be the only dog Galliano can play with."

"That's true, too," Chad said with a nod. "You think Galliano might get big enough for me to wrestle him like I do with Nana?"

And dinosaurs. And trolls.

Teddy thought about it. "Maybe if you're gentle with him?"

"Teddy," Chad said. "The cat runs into walls all the time. I don't even want to think of what he might put himself through when we're not even around. He's pretty resilient."

He had a point there. "Okay, but you're still a lot bigger than him and I don't wanna explain that to a vet."

And now Teddy had the point. "Okay," Chad nodded. "I can see you there. I guess we'll just have to make more playdates with Nana, then. You know Turtle gave me twenty bucks just to watch her yesterday? Doesn't she know I'd do it for free?"

"Don't let that hit radio," Teddy said quickly. "She might kick you for it."

Chad winced a little. "She's American, right?" he asked. "Maybe she won't be here tonight to hear radio."

"Hopefully," Teddy replied. "Think a lot of people are going home?"

"I know a lot of the cheerleading team's sticking around," Chad said, "and helping with the dinner tomorrow. Hard to tell. Probably more people here don't celebrate it than people that do."

"You gonna be cooking?" Teddy asked, perking up for that one.

"Gonna help anyway. I was doing a little earlier; Brooke was doing some pre-cooking."

"Now I'll have to go to the dinner."

Chad gave Teddy an odd look. "Did you have other plans?"

"No, it was more... you know. A family holiday. I thought we might just get some take out and watch bad TV all day, but if you're cooking I'll be there."

Aw, and now Chad felt bad. "We could do that, instead," Chad said. "We've got enough people; I'll just let them know..."

Teddy shook his head. "You'll be there so it's pretty much the same," He insisted. "And I'll hafta actually socialize then."

"It'll be fun," Chad assured him. "And better tasting than take-out."

"I'm putting Galliano in your room if it's not," Teddy threatened. Not that he expected it to be a bad dinner or anything. Just because Galliano was a good threat.

"You know that'll only lead to wrestling," Chad warned.

"I'll keep Oscar Pedro as a hostage," Teddy shot back.

Chad struggled for a moment.

"Mess up the order of all your comics."

Ha! Take that.

Chad grunted. "Want to test that?"

"I'll mess with your music collection."

"Marvel," Chad warned, "rubbing elbows with DC. Recent issues of Ratman chilling out with classic editions of Really Really Strong Guy..."

"You're an evil person," Teddy informed him.

"Aw, you know I'd never do that. I wouldn't even know where to start."

"Which is damn good," Teddy said, leaning over to put an arm around Chad's waist and kiss him. "I'd have to kill you then."

"I know better than to mess with a geek and his comics."

"But now that I work at the shop, I could so replace any damage!"

"But it would be...psychological damage," Chad said. "Or something. Because they're not ruined, they're just all out of order."
