Liir was in a good mood today as he put out the cookies, a small pot of drinking chocolate, and the tea and such. The store had been done as soon as he'd come in and dusted off.

...which was probably why he was in a good mood. Someone was on a sugar high!

Amber walked in, straight up to the counter, and pointed her finger at him, grinning. "I am not chasing you. I came in to buy a book."

A beat.

"Hi, Liiiiiir!"

He bounced over to her, or maybe skipped.

"Glad to know! Which one? I can help you find it, I promise!"

"But I did. Couldn't quite help it on the way here and I've a sweettooth a mile wide."

"That's what I meant," she laughed, shaking her head. "You are on a total sugar high. You need a cheeseburger." Amber reached up to tap the tip of his nose.

He leaned over to kiss her finger before laughing and shaking his head.

"Perhaps later."

He grinned and slipped out from behind the counter before heading right for romance.

"All manner of things here, all sorts of covers."

"Good. I want historical. They're the best," she said, though other than historical, she's not read any other romance and she didn't think Reno's porn magazines counted.

Ahem.

"Maybe one with... Vikings."

He popped through a few different shelves, pulling out books and putting them back, before blinking at Amber.
