Wellspring Arms & Meditation Center, Wednesday
Ino showed up promptly on time according to her schedule and ‘ridiculously early’ according to nearly everyone else’s schedule and bustled around the place taking care of the plants and making sure the store was clean.
After that, though, she flopped down in Cable-san’s chair and considered whether she ought to bring Ichigo lunch today, like normal, or if she should just... not. And spend the time studying instead. Studying was winning out for the moment, so she pulled out a notebook and started reviewing her notes.

Talk to Ino
Re: Talk to Ino
"Ino?"
He kept it relatively quiet, since he didn't want to disturb anyone, but he'd missed her rather a lot and there was soup! And sticky buns!
Re: Talk to Ino
"Hi, Liir!" she chirped, rubbing at her eyes and setting her notebook to the side.
Re: Talk to Ino
"Hello, Ino. Brought you lunch. No puppy, unfortunately, but hopefully the sticky buns will make up for that."
Re: Talk to Ino
Totally innocent. Really.
Re: Talk to Ino
"And then even if you get it on her, she licks it all off. Very difficult."
Re: Talk to Ino
Or maybe that was just Ino.
Re: Talk to Ino
"And yes, I suppose that and the fur are all that preserve her from the oven."
There was a small container of soup, a sandwich, a package of sticky buns, and a jar of cold, sweet green tea.
Re: Talk to Ino
A beat.
"And your estimation of how much I can eat is a bit frightening," Ino observed, "though it'll keep so I guess supper is pretty much settled too. And you're awesome for bringing me food. Did I say that already? If I didn't, sorry, and thank you times, like, a million."
Because supper could totally be sticky buns and whatever else she felt like.
Re: Talk to Ino
"Just doing my brotherly duty. And I brought so much since I wanted to make sure there'd be something in there you'd like."
Re: Talk to Ino
And there were no words for how much that was unfun in Ino's opinion.
Re: Talk to Ino
Even if some small, selfish part of him was glad for it.
"Well, no worries on my front. I'm not about to go anywhere."
He leaned against the counter.
"How are you otherwise? Besides mocking my unfortunate state for the last few days."
Re: Talk to Ino
Re: Talk to Ino
He wasn't quite sure what she could mean there.
Re: Talk to Ino
Ino pointed over to one of the shelves. "Everything on that shelf, and the one next to it." She was guessing, based on weight. But she wasn't too far off.
Re: Talk to Ino
"Really? How does that work?"
Re: Talk to Ino
Re: Talk to Ino
"That's just... very very odd. But I suppose it'd be useful."
Re: Talk to Ino
"It is," she said, "even though I wouldn't use it in battle--weapons in that quantity aren't my thing."
Re: Talk to Ino
"Relying on something like that so heavily."
Re: Talk to Ino
Re: Talk to Ino
"I probably shouldn't be as reliant on the broom as I am, but it's one of my," and he grinned at her, "mostly unique skills."
