The Perk, Friday Afternoon
It was the perfect sort of day for sitting in town with a mug of hot chocolate, which was why it was particularly convenient that Alice had arranged to meet her little sibling here for just that.
Well. She supposed she could have gotten a mocha or latte or one of the other indecipherable drinks, but really, why would one pass up hot chocolate when it was offered?
(Expecting Priestly, but open for all your Perkish needs!)

"It's not so impressive when you consider the alternatives," she said calmly. "Either I take a class, or I pull a confidant aside and ask all of these questions, or I resign myself to never finding out. The second would be far more mortifying, and the third seems somewhat unpleasant."

She never was any good with etiquette. Or geography, although that was less relevant to the conversation in question.
