Android's Dungeon, Saturday

Robin worked diligently putting back issues into sleeves for putting in boxes. First of course he had to figure out how to use the Static Duster. He did this by experimenting on himself. Wow he'd had no idea there was that much hidden lint and dust on him this morning.

Momoko bopped into the store humming happily. She had money left over and wanted to see what was in stock. Seeing Robin, however, she paused and her mouth dropped open. The store clerk was a FROG! Oh yeah, wait. He was in her class.

"Uhm. Excuse me? Hi!" She smiled. "I think we're in the same Heroing class, aren't we? My name's Momoko!"

"Hi Momoko! Yes I think we are. My name's Robin. Welcome to The Android's Dungeon!"

"Thank you!" Still smiling, Momoko tilted her head and looked. It wasn't that she was used to people-y-like frogs or anything, but she did have prior experience with one, so she wasn't completely spooked. Plus she'd had classmates that turned into kittens and bunnies. But she had to ask the obvious question.

"Uhm. Can I ask? Are you... really a normal frog who got hit by a mysterious beam of light from the sky and suddenly you became more human-like and could walk and talk and you got confused about things and now you're looking for someone to turn you back into a normal frog and in the meantime you're going to school here?"

Well, it was an obvious question to Momoko.

Robin took a moment to navigate through the question to make sure he understood it all. "Nope, I've always been like this. Well When I was a baby I was a tadpole, but other than that...see on my world there's things called Muppets. We're sort of like, genetic off shoots of just about everything. I've actually been working on a history of the Muppets."

Momoko bent over slightly and lifted her hand to cover her heart as she gave a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness. I didn't want to go through that again." She straightened and again was smiling. "I'm guessing you're Jack's roommate, then, since he was babbling about his roommate who was a frog the other day when he was drunk and wandering the halls. I'm sorry, but I thought he was just imagining you!"

Robin laughed. "You can never assume that sort of thing at this school."

"You have a point! No one would believe half of the things I could tell them and I've only been here since summer!" Momoko grinned. "I only tell my friends back home the slightly weird things and they think I make no sense."

"I don't think anyone back home has disbelieved anything I've told them." Robin said. "But then I come from a world where Frogs, Bears, Dogs, even plants and inanimate objects can talk. And play musical instruments."

"And no one was hit by mysterious rays or white light or black particles or anything?!" Momoko wouldn't believe it possible if there wasn't living proof telling her about it. "We have things that suddenly come to life, but they're usually monsters and didn't grow up like that but we still have to fight them. They were changed into what they are, which is why I asked if you were really a real frog or not. It's happened before, you see."
