Yesterday had only been slightly confusing. After Madrox's message, which was really just par for the course for Madrox, three others had followed.
While he was pretty sure there was a logical explanation that involved the island being the island, he had to confess he now knew way more about the lives of certain people than he'd really wanted to.
"What do you mean, how's Weasel? What, do you expect me to be the mind reader now?"
"I'll take that," he said, and was suddenly incredibly grateful he'd put off matters more important than Gazprom until today.

There were no words that worked better to deal with a situation like that than 'I don't have time, I have to save the world.' Especially when grunted dismissively.
"It's the age-old question. 'If I answer, do I become part of the problem...?'" There might've been a joke hidden in there somewhere.

That, of course, changed, because she remembered about all the smugness.
So there was an oh so smug Robin at her desk today, humming happily.
