Pixie Dust, Monday, 1/19
Romeo was surprised to find a last message on his voicemail in the morning, and he quickly called Reno back to try to set things straight.
Then he went about the shop to make sure everything seemed to be in order and settled behind the counter with L'uomo Vogue. There were some spring fashions he wanted to order.

Spirit was rather hard to miss, being a good sized white horse with flowing golden mane.

"Good morning, Adora," he answered. "And it's nice to meet you, Spirit." He wasn't sure how to greet a horse, but his body language was relaxed and easy.

Adora had told him it was a talking horse, but he was still startled to hear such a human-sounding voice.

"Now Adora, don't go getting any ideas..." Spirit warned. "I know flowers aren't abundant here, but I don't need decoration."

Adora blushed crimson, "Thank you for that, Spirit. And thank you, Romeo. I think I'll have to take you up on the offer."

He gestured around the store as he turned to Adora. "Is there anything in particular you'd like to see? We don't have flowers, but I know we have some floral prints."
no subject
"Just be sure they're not for me," Spirit huffed.
no subject
That was to Adora, not Spirit, though he supposed Spirit's answer would work as well.

Spirit snuffled in amusement, "Perhaps a new blanket, but I don't think I'd find one here."
no subject
"How long have you known Spirit?"

"Uh. No. That message wasn't for you, it--" He held up a finger suddenly, and then went digging through his pockets for his phone. Which he'd been tempted to throw into the duck pond yesterday, but that was neither here nor there. "Dude, I was callin' this chick back. How'd you get it?"
And then he played back the message left on his phone by Viki.

"But that was the second time this week someone called me a girl."
no subject
"I had guys callin' me up talkin' to me about sex all yesterday. Like, I dunno, some kinda glitter truck exploded and covered up half the island or somethin' and nobody bothered to warn me."
It was Fandom. It could happen.
"Who the heck else would call you a girl? It ain't like you're girly or nothin'. Romantic, sure. Educated or whatever. But that ain't the same thing, yo."

After a long pause, Reno pulled out his phone again.
"I left Rikku a message yesterday, too. She called back with this one-" And he played it, "- And when I called her back again, no answer, no call back."
Another pause. "I dunno what I said, man."

The smile died on his lips as he listened to the message. "... she sounds really angry."
Obvious Romeo was obvious.

He stared at his phone a moment more, and then pocketed it.
"I bet Fandom doesn't even have a class to help deal with stuff like this, yo."
... He'd spent most of the morning looking over the course calendar again, to see if any of the teachers in the school would know what he did wrong.

Though ... she sounded really angry.
