Android's Dungeon, Wednesday, 1/21
There were many things Sarah would say she did not miss about L.A. The traffic. Her Wienerlicious uniform. People trying to kill her even more often than the CIA norm.
But she had to admit, it had been nice to have a whole winter without thinking about snowstorms or power outages. The weather on Fandom this week almost made a girl want to go back west.
She kept her coat on as she opened the store, putting a few battery-powered lanterns out for light. For heat, she was contemplating if it was in the budget to start a fire with back issues.
[OOC: Open. I defy OCD!]

So, after beating on the thermostat for a minute, Loki tromped out into the snow and into the first familiar business.
"What in the fuck happened to the power?" Loki asked, shaking the snow out of his hair.

"Nice and direct this morning," Loki said, brushing the snow off his coat. "No, that was meant for Daisy. I thought she was brushing me off. But her message wasn't meant for me and that day was just fucked up in general."

Then she realized that made no sense outside a context that seemed pretty silly now.
"My messages were really confusing."

She was pretty sure now that he wasn't behind it, but she wanted to see hsi face anyhow.

Paranoid, much? Sarah brushed past that.
"Anyhow, so I called you to yell at you, and then I got your message and thought it was you calling me back to yell at me. And then I tried to call you again to yell some more. Which is where moving came into it."

Loki stared but realized that, yeah, he might have done that. Maybe.
"That's fucking rhetorical, don't answer that. Let's go through the reasons why I would never fucking do that. One, that sounds like a student. I don't tend to talk to the little children unless they come around and if they did, I wouldn't discuss your...you with them. Two, why would I put a student up to something when I'm fine with just doing it myself? I could do it much fucking better."
Pause. Breath.
"And three." Three. "Three, I'm not going to tell anyone about that. I haven't even written in my fucking diary. I haven't mentioned it to any fucking one."

And, he decided to give her a little something just because. "Also, you're not the only one with secrets. With people that are keeping secrets. So I know how it fucking goes."

She ran a hand through her hair. She'd figured out he had secrets a long time ago, so ... "And someday you'll tell me yours and we'll be even?"
Hope was a good thing.

"Considering the weather and all. And you're very welcome. I hope what I brought has something you'd like."

"Though if you're really wanting something specific, I can head back and get that. After all, I have to go back and get fresh, warm soup every hour or so anyway."

"Yes, well, no one likes to be cold. And it's one of my few helpful skills," he provided as he found one of the hot chocolates.
A bowl of butternut squash was put next to it.

"Thank you," though he could be polite.
He held out a hand.
"Liir. A pleasure to meet you, miss."

"It's not that cold," he said. "And at least the wind isn't too terribly bad. Bad enough, but there's worse, especially once you get higher up."
