The Cafe Fina - Wednesday, 1/21

Liir came in with a goal, a mission of sorts.

The kitchen utensils were all a little wary at first, but once he'd explained, they were all quite happy to help. The pots especially.

It took a little finding to get the containers he'd need, but once he had, it was just a matter of preparing what would go in them. Then there was the chocolate and... well, it would be a little costly (for him, as he'd never rely on the cafe to pay for his own hairbrained schemes), but he thought it might help business. Especially on a day like today.

He was only glad the restaurant cooked with (proper) gas.

Jack blundered in, trying to shut the door behind him as quickly as possible. Burgers were probably out for today, but maybe some hot cocoa....or hot chocolate...or chicken soup.

Jack was almost salivating.

He caught Liir just as he was pouring out the new batch.

"Jack, hello. Care for something warm?"

"Yes, please, it's colder'n heck out there." He was shivering. "So...cocoa....chocolate....what's the difference? Hot chocolate and hot cocoa?"

"Ones from powder, ones from whole chocolate. And yes, I've been going out in it all day. Any soup?"

"Oh, yes, please. Soup sounds great. And...can't go wrong with chocolate. You....don't have any chocolate soup, right?" Just checking.

"Oooookaaaay,' he said, looking at it, poking it with the spoon. He tried a little.


"Oh, my God, I'll take two."
