The Perk [Sunday, Morning]

Why it was, that Angela was up and about early on days she really didn't need to be, would probably forever be a mystery.

She was, though, and it was still really cold out. Excess cold called for caffeine. The good stuff, not the 'found in a common room' variety.

So she ordered a mocha, flirted with the barista to get extra cream (surprising how well that usually worked), and found herself a comfortable chair to relax in. After her conversation with Dinah yesterday she was definitely considering stopping in on this convention before she went back to the dorms, just for interests sake.

"You were talking to some idiot about how fine they look shirtless?"

"I wasn't talking to anyone," he protested. "They called me. I answered! Not to you."

"Mm-hm," she intoned, sounding rather amused. "Well, it certainly made my day more interesting."

"I'm sorry," he mumbled, speaking to the table top and wishing he could somehow disappear.

Angela grinned at him over her mug. "You're apologising, for brightening my otherwise dull Sunday?" she asked.

"It was rude!" he defended his apology.

"Please, I accidentally offered to strip and stick my hand down someone's pants," Angela shared. Possibly overshared. "I think I've got you beat on awkward voicemail mix ups."

Definitely overshared as Ichigo seemed to choke on the coffee he hadn't just been drinking and he sort of gaped at Angela, too dumbstruck to say anything.

"I still don't know who those went to..." she mused, apparently ignoring Ichigo's awkwardness.

"Not me," he said with a slightly squeaky voice and he quickly cleared his throat, trying to ignore it.

"Shame," Angela commented with a smirk. What? Watching him flail at that would've been fun.

Which earned her even more gaping if she thought that was fun too. "No!"

"You know, you're lucky I'm not the sort of girl to take offense at that kind of vehemence," she remarked. Still looking vastly entertained over here. "Some people consider getting dirty voicemails off me as a good thing."

"It's not tha-" he faltered mid-sentence, not having a real defence. "You're not..." He failed to come up with anything again, stopped and blinked and...

"Shut up." Really, that worked best.

Angela grinned, and zipped her fingers across her lips. Look at her being all obedient.

Ignore the smirk.
