The Perk [Sunday, Morning]

Why it was, that Angela was up and about early on days she really didn't need to be, would probably forever be a mystery.

She was, though, and it was still really cold out. Excess cold called for caffeine. The good stuff, not the 'found in a common room' variety.

So she ordered a mocha, flirted with the barista to get extra cream (surprising how well that usually worked), and found herself a comfortable chair to relax in. After her conversation with Dinah yesterday she was definitely considering stopping in on this convention before she went back to the dorms, just for interests sake.

"Yes, I guess we are," he said. Chuck smiled at her. "So what other guilty pleasures do you have?"

"Better question, is what are yours?" Angela shot back. "I've already shared."

"I don't feel guilty about any of my pleasures," Chuck replied.

"I can't say I actually feel that guilty about mine," Angela admitted, turning her mug between her hands. "It's more just a figure of speech."

"Mmm hmm, I see. So you want to know about my regular, non-guilty pleasures?" he asked. "I'm sure it's nothing you can't already guess for yourself."

"Anyone ever tell you, you have a one track mind?" Angela asked him, looking amused.

"But a wonderful track it is," Chuck said, grinning.

Angela laughed, giving a little nod of agreement. She couldn't say she didn't spend some time on it herself. "It definitely has it's high points."

"Very high points," he said. "I do go on other tracks on occasion but I've found they aren't as fun."

"I try to get a little bit of balance in there," she said, smiling over her mug at him.

"Balance, huh?" Chuck shook his head. "I don't know, constant sex still sounds like more fun."

"Never said it didn't," Angela pointed out.

Chuck smirked. "Then why bother with the balance thing?"

"Because sometimes you do actually need to get other things done," she pointed out reasonably.

"Other things?" Chuck asked, pretending to look shocked. "There's other things? I had no idea!"

"Shocking, I know," Angela teased. "Sometimes, it isn't all about sex."

"I refuse to believe it," he said, shaking his head.

"I would offer to try and prove it," she said. "But somehow, I'm really not sure it would do anything with you."

"Probably not," he said, looking amused. "But would you really want me to change my ways?"

"Mm, it is part of your charm, I suppose," she said with a smirk.
