"Okay, so, a banana split, or a huge brownie explosion, or maybe a sundae with the works?" Dinah asked, pointing at the menu. "Your pick. I'm just getting a small cone." She grinned at Merlin. "So. Did you hear Radio last night?"

"You're not going to have a... brownie explosion with me?" Merlin asked, pointing that one out to the server. "What about it?"

"Oh, well." Dinah grimaced a little, torn. "Jamie was on it. And he said a lot of stuff. About, uh, porn. Some of it about you. And other people." She pouted. "Some of it about me. Which I think I should be flattered except I'm kind of appalled."

Merlin stared. "You had porn?"

"No!" Dinah's arms windmilled. "Not-that-there's-anything-wrong-with-that! Girls can have porn! We're liberated! We..." She facepalmed. "Jamie made it sound like we were porn. You didn't hear it?"

"Merlin! Are you doing this on purpose?" Dinah nearly bounced with frustration. "You, me, half the student body, together and apart, and every time he played "Wind Beneath My Wings" I thought I was going to die of embarrassment! Even if he wasn't really... you know!"

"Really?" Merlin thought that over. "I thought he just liked the song."

"Really! It would only have been worse if he played 'Leave Your Hat On'!" Which, upon consideration... "And that's a very porny song, so I'm very very glad he didn't. Sheesh." She turned to the counter guy. "Just a small cone, one scoop of mind chocolate-chip, please."

Merlin nodded appeasingly, so as to avoid the wrath of Dinah. "Is radio ever accurate?"

"I hope not. Or Leto and Arthur made out in a shack in the woods." Dinah turned bright, bright red. "Um. Yeah. Anyway. I have to find Arthur and yell at him about his Radio too."

Merlin made a face, shaking off that mental image. "I certainly don't think that's the case."

"I didn't really think that either," Dinah assured him. Although the brief idea had been... very pretty. "Anyway. I just wanted to be sure you weren't upset about being called a pervert again, mostly. Jamie's nuts."

"I think I've gotten used to it," Merlin said dryly. "Besides, I think Arthur and Leto had an argument. He was in a strange mood yesterday."

"I'll still tell Francine you're not, if you want," Dinah offered, accepting her cone and giving the counter guy a smile, then settling in to lick it with enjoyment. "Hunh. Arthur gets strange moods? Who would have thought?" She grinned.

"Stranger than usual." Okay, he was trying not to laugh there anyway. "You will?"

"I was a bad friend and I laughed at your discomfort. Mostly because I was unnerved. I should make it up to you, right?" She poked him on the arm. "Order the brownie explosion. It comes with four kinds of ice cream!"

"If you have to roll me out of here, it'll be your own fault," Merlin informed her, ordering just that.

"Yay!" Dinah did a little time-step, spun, then came back to rest. "So what have you been doing since The Incident in the Common Room That Dare Not Speak Its Name? Since I can't rely on Radio to tell me anything except porn, porn, porn." She sang the last three words.

"I spoke with Emmett about it and he was..." Merlin paused to think of an accurate word. "A bit like Arthur in how he shows he likes someone."

"Oooooo." Dinah's eyes narrowed, and she frowned. "Wait, he set you up to be called a pervert because he likes you? Boys. Sheeeesh." She took another lick of her cone. "So did you vow revenge on him too?"

"I sort of... melted his DVD."

Dinah cracked up, nearly losing her grip on her ice cream cone, as the counter guy handed over a monster brownie with ice cream, whipped cream toppings and chocolate sauce to Merlin. "Serves him right."

"Just a bit," Merlin admitted. "But he was rather nice after that. I think he just missed his brothers."

"Awwwww," Dinah said, looking wistful. "I get that."

They settled into a booth by the window, and Dinah tilted her head to attack her cone. "So yeah, despite Jamie perving on me and Lois, I had a good few days since then. And I studied with Miss Atreides yesterday, which was awesome."
