Romeo was preoccupied as he unlocked the store and turned on the lights; he was still on his cell phone, leaving a message.
Alas, poor Romeo.
The bin of rejected clothes had been plotting among themselves for weeks. They weren't ugly, they told each other. The manager just had no taste. Had they seen his Hawaiian shirts? All the crisp neutrals in the world couldn't make up for those. And yet they were being destroyed at his whim.
Which was why they launched their attack. A sequined pair of hot pants volunteered to give itself to the cause first, flinging shiny silver discs at Romeo every few seconds. It had excellent aim.
"Ow!," he exclaimed, picking them out of his hair.
If he didn't get what was going on by the end of the day, the scarves would launch the next offensive.
[OOC: Yeah, I dunno. I'm blaming Shanie's Jentrap idea. Open and OCD-free store, though!]
