Luke's Diner - Wednesday, 2/4

Johnny brought Savannah in to work with him today and after putting in an order for something to eat, he led her to a booth and sat down with her.

"We'll take things nice and easy today. How's that sound?"

The kitchen staff realized then that Johnny was going to be a slacker today.

Luke's is open.

He glanced down at the ring on her finger and was glad she hadn't taken it off.

"Nah, not too much. You just like dragging me to the back store room," he teased, waggling his brows, glad that he could try to make her smile.

Savannah nodded and gave Johnny her hand. It was obvious that she had no trust issues where he was concerned.

It was noted and he loved her more than ever for it. Folding his fingers over her hand, he slowly began to warm up, watching her face as he did so.

"Your boyfriend is hot, Savannah," he said, his grin slightly wicked.

Her smile started small and then grew as her hand warmed up in his hand and her eyes were bright as they met his.
